WOWZA!!!!  This list is HUGE!  By comparison the number of books on my lists for PRIDE AND PREJUDICE works from authors with last names A-L was 49 in 2013, 60 in 2014, and 100 in 2015!!!  No wonder I can’t keep up! I thought I was doing well, but I read 19 books out of the 100 on this list!

And this list is the first of 3!  The next list will include all the PRIDE AND PREJUDICE works published in 2015 with from authors with last names M-Z.  And the last list will include all the PRIDE AND PREJUDICE works published only as ebooks in 2015.

  1. Whoohoo! Lots more books about our favourite P & P couple. I have only read three of these books and have lots of others on my TBR list. I will have to get a move on. Thank you Meredith. Really appreciate you putting this list together. It is very helpful

    1. So very glad you find the list helpful, Michelle! I know making the search on amazon is just as easy so these lists sometimes don’t really present any new information, but I love making lists and seeing information organized! LOL!

  2. I haven´t read any!!!!. This list is awesome!!, no doubt Darcy and Lizzy´s legacy is forever!. If human beings had to send a time capsule to the moon, Pride and Prejudice should have its place in it. LOL 😉

  3. Oh my word! I knew there was a lot, but wow. And I agree, no wonder it was hard to keep up with the new releases.

    1. I too noticed the increase of novellas. While I typically prefer longer works, I’ve read several short stories and novellas recently that I found wonderfully satisfying – one being The Earl’s Conquest by L.L. Diamond which I felt was perfect in length and depth.

  4. There were 97 books by 49 authors on the first of 3 lists. That’s amazing! I guess people who thought this genre was dying were wrong. I noticed a Hallmark movie is coming in a few weeks based on Unleashing Mr. Darcy. That’s a first. I guess I’ll just keep writing. Ha!

Thanks for the list, Meredith, and for the time you take promoting Austen writers. I’m honored to be on there with such good authors.

    1. It definitely is not dying! 🙂 I’m so excited about Unleashing Mr. Darcy being made into a movie, I hope that some more will follow! There are so many Austenesque books I’d love to see represented on screen!

I’m glad you like the lists! And yes, please do keep writing! 😉

    2. Makes me swing back and forth between dismay and joy. I’ve read more Austenesque books this year than ever before, yet have only read six from the above list. Have more on my TBR list. But I’ll never get to all the books in my wish list.

Nobody can keep up with this. And so this is one of the very top reasons I rely on your blog Meredith. Your review help in so many ways. Better than the brief descriptions available on a retail site, better than slogging through lots of reviews, too. Yours are comprehensive, complimentary as well as critical when called for.

I love the lists, but they make me sad I cannot read faster and more often. And I already read tons! It is simply amazing how the numbers have jumped in the past few years, isn’t it?

  5. I hope it’s ok to say here, RIP to Alan Rickman who died today in England. To me he’ll always be THE one and only Colonel Brandon. Perfect for the part, Every time I read Sense and Sensibility I can hear his voice.

  6. I believe (if I counted correctly) that I read 33 of these but even then there are so many I didn’t! Always love your lists, Meredith.

I agree about Alan Rickman (we were born the same year) and will miss him in our world. Saw him in S&S, Die Hard and Harry Potter movies.

Not only is Unleashing Mr. Darcy coming out but then there is P&P and Zombies! Of all the excellent variations they chose this? I will see both…have to have my part in the conversation.

    1. That’s amazing, Sheila! Well done you!

Yes, Alan Rickman was wonderful in so many of these roles. Just rewatched Die Hard and Love Actually over Christmas break, really enjoyed his acting! So very sad about his passing.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts of both Unleashing Mr. Darcy and P&P and Zombies!
