Just like in 2013, the amount of Pride and Prejudice inspired Austenesque novels published in 2014 is so enormous, I need to split the list three ways!

  • Author’s Last Name (A-L)
  • Author’s Last Name (M-Z)
  • Novels That Were Only Published as eBooks

So today’s list is the first of 3!  If you are wondering why a Pride and Prejudice inspired novel that was published in 2014 isn’t on this list, chances are it is on one of the other two.  If there is a novel you know belongs on this list (has to be published in paperback) and you don’t see it, let me know!  With so many novels coming out weekly, it is hard to remember or find them all!

If you want to see more lists, go HERE.

Of the novels I haven’t read, which do you recommend?

There are 60 novels in this list, how many have you read?

I’ve read so few of these! Certainly less than 10! One that I have read, and it looks like you may not have read yet, is ‘The Muse’. Excellent read 🙂

I agree on The Muse. It is a good one. I have read 19 of those listed.

What a great service this is, Meredith! You have done so much for the community of readers. I consulted your lists for years before I ever had the courage to join the conversation—and confess I never thought much about the person who did all that work! Chalk it up to inexperience with all things WWW.

If I might just make a quick note, in the title of my book, “Headstrong” is one word. . . .

Thank you, Abigail! The amount of work to keep up to date with these lists is daunting sometimes! Thank you for the kind words and encouragement! Of course…there are bound to be a few mistakes. Thanks for catching that!

I always get such use out of your lists. Thanks for compiling these. This one just shows me how many I still need to read from last year. Oys, there’s a lot!

Jane Austen’s Universe is so huge! Not only I can’t add any new title but I haven’t read any of the list! I’m ashamed LOL, but I have chosen some titles for my wishlist 🙂
Some of you speak about “the muse”, am I wrong or this is one of your “March Agenda”?

Oh no, don’t feel ashamed! There are two other lists for P&P 2014 and not too mention many non-P&P releases, I’m sure the books you’ve read might be on those lists! I know I read a lot of books that were published earlier than 2014. 🙂 I love that you remembered The Muse was on my March Agenda, you are awesome! 😉 Hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend!

Good heavens! I’ve read 27 of them on this list. I’m shocked it was so many. Thanks so much for compiling this, Meredith. It’s a great way to be reminded of what’s out there. I thought Regina Jeffers published in 2014. Maybe it was an older one that I happened to read in 2014. I’ll have to check. Anyway, thanks again. Looking forward to list #2 & #3.

Wow, Joy, I am impressed. I have a long way to go to catch up to so many others out there…pure enjoyment along the way, though.

Very impressive, Joy! I’m glad you enjoyed the list! I just did a double check and didn’t see anything published in 2014 for Regina. Thanks for looking out for me though!

Syrie James – Jane Austen’s First Love

    Jenni James – Mansfield Ranch

    OK – I’m done thinking about this, aren’t I?

I love your lists! They’re helpful and organized so well. I have list envy. I’m way overdue to update my JAFF spreadsheet & goodreads tbr.

I think I’ve read about 15 on this list.

I wish they could look more organized or easier to read. I’m so bad about keeping up to date! Will try to do better this year! LOL! Would love to see your spreadsheet!

I’ve read 21 of those so far and have another 3 waiting in my Kindle. Of those you haven’t read, Meredith, there are 7 that I have read. Just to Hear “I Love You”, Hope and Sensibility and The Muse are my favourites from those 7.

Looking forward to the remaing lists.

That’s awesome, Anji! Great job of keeping up! Thanks for sharing some of your favorites with me! I’ll definitely add the two I don’t know to my wishlist! 🙂

What does “TT” stand for? I noticed my books were the only ones with that designation. Thanks for reviewing my books, Meredith. I appreciate all that you do.

    Loved your comprehensive list, Meredith!
So much to read, so little time!!!

    Love your lists, Meredith!!
