I started this blog in 2009 because I wanted to help and inform discerning readers about the different Austenesque novels being published.  With so many novels to choose from, I wanted to write reviews that would help readers decide if a book was right for them.

Also, I love talking about what I read!  After I finish a book, my head is full of it!  And since I don’t know any people in my real life that have the same taste in literature as I do, I decided to turn to the internet!  I’m so happy to have a place where I can share my love of Jane Austen and Austenesque books!

Who am I?  What’s my story?

I’m a 36 year old New Yorker that now lives in southeast North Carolina and I am forever falling more in love with this state and life in the south.

By day I run a music studio and give piano lessons, during my free time you can find me reading, blogging, hiking, and doing everything I can outdoors.  I’m a vegetarian, I love to eat tacos, I want to travel the world, and pigs and elephants are my favorite animals!
