10 Wonderful Holiday-Inspired Austenesque Novels from 2010-2017 – Austenesque Top Ten

Hi dear readers!

I was in the middle of reveling in some lovely holiday Austenesque reads this month (something I look forward to doing every December) when I discovered I have yet to make a list of my favorite holiday-inspired Austenesque reads!🎄

So I set myself to that task. And I thought it would be of interest to share since some of my favorites are from long ago (I know 10 years isn’t that long ago, but for voracious readers it is 100’s of books ago!) 😄📚

And wouldn’t you know, the list is so long that I needed to divide it into two lists! 😮

So here is my first Top Ten list – which includes my MOST favorite holiday-inspired Austenesque novels from the years 2010-2017.

* These lists are based only on the novels I have read and reviewed on this blog and are my top ten favorites.

**These lists are subject to change.

“Blind Dates, Christmas, and Hot Firemen Calendars…While the formula is basically there and the characters have the same personalities, this story has its own original storyline, which made it full of surprises and not at all predictable!”

  1. I’ve read most of these Meredith and out of the ten I would definitely pick Lucky 13 as my hands down favourite! A hot fireman Darcy? What’s not to love?

  2. I have read 9 out of 10 and could not find Young Master Darcy available in e-book form – only paperback and it is the only one I have not read. Merry Christmas, everyone who celebrates. Happy Holidays to those who celebrate a different holiday. Thanks for sharing your list, Meredith.

    1. Sheila, Pamela has plans to release it as an eBook–or she did when we talked in November. Life has a way of pushing projects to the side, sometimes. I’m thinking it will come out in 2022.

  3. Thank you so much for this Christmas list because it´s very useful in these times 🙂
I enjoyed a lot “Pemberley Celebrations” by Kara Louise, in fact, it was one of my first Austenesque readings in english so I remember it with special joy.
Happy Christmas Meredith and to all of you, readers, and have fun!

  4. Oh, I loved those books and agree completely that they are wonderful and worthy to be on a favorites list. I think I may have to check out one or two as I don’t believe I’ve read them. Thanks for sharing. Blessings and a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all in the manner in which you celebrate this time of the year. Happy New Year.

  5. I have all of these and LOVE your holiday list. Thanks so much for the reminder. Now for a little re-reading!

  6. I haven’t read all from the list but it puts those titles I have read in front of my mind, which of course makes me want to reread them. I own too many Christmas titles now to reread them every year if you can believe it. Poor me, what a sad problem to have. 🙁 Thanks for the great list.

  7. Meredith, there are wonderful titles here. It’s a delight to see Pamela Aidan’s Young Master Darcy.

And you cannot image my surprise to see our A Very Austen Christmas included on your list. Wow.

  8. Thanks so much for including Pemberley Celebrations! What an honor to be included with some other wonderful authors!

  9. Merry Christmas and Happy 2022, Meredith! <3
I'm soooo happy to see Lucky 13 and Villa Fortuna included among such fine books in your Holiday favorite list. Thank you and thank you to all the readers who have reached out to me about how much they have enjoyed them over the years.
Much love and joy to you all,
    Cat
