Just like in 2013, the amount of Pride and Prejudice inspired Austenesque novels published in 2014 is so enormous, I need to split the list three ways!

So today’s list is the second of 3!  If you are wondering why a Pride and Prejudice inspired novel that was published in 2014 isn’t on this list, chances are it is on one of the other two.  If there is a novel you know belongs on this list (has to be published in paperback) and you don’t see it, let me know!  With so many novels coming out weekly, it is hard to remember or find them all!

If you want to see more lists, go HERE.

Of the novels I haven’t read, which do you recommend?

There are 60 novels in this list, how many have you read?

  1. WOW! I have lists too but nothing like this! 🙂 Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together Meredith! One of my books, A Winter Wrong is currently free in ebook on all venues (kindle, nook, google, kobo, ibooks). If anyone wants a free 2014 JAFF title 🙂 The opening of that book is one of my favorite scenes.

  2. I’ve not done so well on this part of the list! I’ve only read three of them so far but I do have another seven in the TBR collection on my Kindle. Can’t make any recommendations though, as out of my three, you’ve read them all, too.

    1. Me too, Anji. I’ve dropped the ball a little on this second list! Must be something to do with these letters of the alphabet – I’m so uneven between the two!

  3. I can see that I’ve lived under a rock this last year. I only recognized maybe 25% of those titles and I think I read only one or two. 😉 Guess I have a lot of reading options.
    Nice work, Meredith!

    1. If it weren’t for amazon and their helpful suggestions, I wouldn’t know about many of these books! The options are endless, aren’t they?

  4. 30 – can you believe it? I’m shocked at how much time I spent reading rather than writing last year. Meredith, I’m not even going to try to stump you on this half of the list because I was 100% wrong on the first half. Well done!!! What a valuable resource.

  5. Well, I have only read 13 of these so I am humbled. Joy – you are amazing. I do read other genres – historical romances, As You Wish, etc. But I am overwhelmed at the amount of literature here. Meredith, you are amazing in your ability to keep track and organize all this. Thank you.

    1. Thank you, Sheila! It is definitely a challenge track everything, I’m sure I’m missing and overlooking things. Amazon is very helpful though! How lost I would be without them!
