Cover Reveal for A Little Whimsical in His Civilities!!!

CR

Oh yes, yes, yes!  We are doing another special cover reveal here today, my friends!  I’m so honored to be hosting the cover reveal for J. Marie Croft’s new release, A Little Whimsical in His Civilities!  Joanne has been a lovely friend to Austenesque Reviews these past years and I am such a great admirer of her clever quips and witty way with words!  I am very excited to learn more about her upcoming release!!

~ A Little Whimsical in His Civilities ~

Told entirely from Fitzwilliam Darcy’s point of view,

J. Marie Croft’s humorous novella,

A Little Whimsical in His Civilities,

spans one moonlit, autumnal night upon the gentleman’s return

to Hertfordshire in pursuit of Elizabeth Bennet.

Accompany Darcy as he, intent on reversing the disastrous

first impression he made there, braves another Meryton

assembly and seeks to win his heart’s desire.

Expected Release Date: January 25th

~ Author Bio ~J Marie Croft

J. Marie Croft is a self-proclaimed word nerd and adherent of Jane Austen’s quote “Let other pens dwell on guilt and misery”. Her light-hearted novel, Love at First Slight (Meryton Press, 2013), and her humorous short story, Spyglasses and Sunburns, in the Sun-Kissed: Effusions of Summer anthology (Meryton Press, 2015) bear witness to Joanne’s fondness for Pride and Prejudice, wordplay, and laughter.

And without further ado….here is the big reveal!!!

What do you think, readers?

I love the idea of ANOTHER Meryton Assembly…wonder how different Darcy will be!

  1. I also like the idea of another assembly…and with the colonel present? Delicious. I will have to read this a.s.a.p.

We are sooooo snowed in here in PA. Reading late last night.

  2. OOPS got that part wrong….must get my eyes checked…LOL. told from Darcy’s POV…must have the colonel on my mind

  3. Ellen Pickels did a great job of reading my mind when she did the design. There’s mention of the moon throughout the story, so I wanted it to be the backdrop for a silhouette of Elizabeth and Darcy.

Thank you, Meredith, for uncovering my cover.

I’m out in the middle of nowhere today, so access to the internet is spotty. I’ll drop by whenever I can.

    Hugs,
    Joanne

  4. I LOVE the cover. No modern or stark covers for me. This is right up my street. And the story sounds really great!!

  5. Lovely cover. I really like the idea of this story told from Darcy’s viewpoint. Especially as he is now determined to win Elizabeth . I look forward to reading this.

  6. Just downloaded! Looks like another terrific read from J Marie Croft. Always enjoy her wit and smart stories! Gorgeous cover.

    1. This book was released and is available on KU for those who subscribe to that. I read it and reviewed it. The author’s command of language is truly amazing.
