Hi friends! Guess what? I have another stunning cover reveal to share with you today! 🤩
It will be the third one for this month! 😮
I love doing these posts – it is 1/3 revelation, 1/3 celebration, and 1/3 discovery! 🙌🏼
And 3/3 exciting – in all respects. 💯
Anyways, this cover reveal is for an intriguing new Pride and Prejudice variation by MJ Stratton – To Marry for Love!! 👰🏻♀️
Please help me in welcoming back MJ – who I’ve been delighted to have as such a regular visitor this past year – to Austenesuqe Reviews as she shares her cover for To Marry for Love! 🤗
~ From the Author ~
Thank you, Meredith for having me at your blog again! I’ve haunted Austenesque Reviews often this year, and each visit it a pleasure and a privilege. And I am SO happy to be here today to show off the amazing cover for To Marry for Love!
It was designed by Pemberley Darcy, whose talents grace the covers of a LOT of JAFF novels.
I’ve been a writer for a long time, though I only recently started publishing my work. Never in the many years I have practiced my craft have I ever had my muse as busy as it has been this year! There have been so many stories!
The credit for this book idea goes to one of my good friends, Jayne Bamber. We exchange plot bunnies occasionally, and this book is one of them. To Marry for Love is a multi-trope Austenesque adventure.
A little bit about what you’ll find in this book:
The Elizabeth in this book has had her world shaken. She’s forced to experience a paradigm shift as her favorite sister does something inexplicable: she marries without mutual respect and affection. Our heroine is left in the dark as to Jane’s reasons for a while, so she struggles to realign her beliefs and to rediscover that what she sees may not necessarily be the same as what is true.
Charlotte is a little self-deprecating in this story, especially when she experiences yet another disappointment in her quest for a home of her own. She and Jane become closer and together they try to help Elizabeth find her path.
Jane comes into her own, learning that she can experience more independence than she ever had before as a wife. She gains quiet confidence and comes to understand more about herself during her trials. Though her own happily ever after is delayed, she does get it!
I loved the Darcy in this book! He is not one to hold things against Elizabeth, especially when certain things come to light!
~ Book Description ~
Determined to marry for affection, Elizabeth Bennet rejects her cousin’s proposal, unaware that doing so will throw those she loves most into turmoil. When her decision forces her sister Jane to marry without affection and leaves her dear friend Charlotte Lucas bereft of hope, Elizabeth is ensnared in a tangled web of interference and obligation.
Fitzwilliam Darcy is certain he’s left Hertfordshire and the beguiling, impertinent miss he met there behind, only to find her in Kent when next he visits his aunt. While Miss Elizabeth Bennet may seem indifferent to his presence, wrapped as she is in her own concerns, Darcy finds it impossible to mirror her disregard. But as his love for her comes to the fore, her mire of obligations and hope threatens to keep them apart.
To Marry for Love is a sweet, low-angst Pride and Prejudice Variation where Elizabeth, Jane, and Charlotte find love and happiness in an intricate dance of duty, honor, and second chances.
And without further ado….here is the big reveal!!!
(expected release date: December 26th)
Yes, pleeeeeease. I am adoring this garden scene – the ruins, the archway, the ivy. I’m in love. 🌷
I feel like this is the place where Elizabeth is finding sanctuary and solace. ⛲️
Oh! Poor Jane! This is indeed a most surprising twist!….but to hear that she will also experience some growth and happiness? 😮
And I cannot wait to see what Mr. Darcy does and thinks of this all and how it impacts his own course… 🎩
What do you think, friends? 🤔

Congratulations on your newest release, MJ!
The cover is lovely. I like how her dress nearly glows in while surrounded by the lush garden.
Looking forward to reading this!
I love the cover! I can’t wait to read, sounds interesting.
Very nice cover. I think the best covers are those that do not show the full face of the model(s) and this one exudes peace and quiet.
What a beautiful cover; the mingling of the nature’s greens of hope, the mist, the ruin on one side and the home on the other, and Elizabeth dressed in blue, which color can represent both coldness and despair as well as promise and healing. This sounds like an intriguing story.
Looks good, Leah! I love that shade of blue. I’m looking forward to enjoying it.
I’m happy to leave some love for this cover and for the storyline, I’m putting this on my list as I’m not happy with Rafflecopter giveaways due to numerous frustrating attempts in the past. Poor Jane , but I’m pleased to know it all turns out for her eventually
Great cover, I’m intrigued reading the book description, so I now can’t wait to read the published book.
I am looking forward to reading this!
Cover is beautiful, can’t wait to read this new one!
Very lovely cover! Congratulations on another wonderful story!
I love that cover. Congratulations on the launch of this new work. Kudos go to Pemberley Darcy for the design. Poor Jane, what a twist. I’m surprised we don’t see more of that. I’m sure that is closer to what would be expected to happen with Elizabeth refusing. I’m glad it was noted that there would be happiness for all three of our characters. Whew! That reassures me. Blessings on the release and I am looking forward to reading it.
Oh wow! I love this cover! That blue gown contrasting with the greens of the garden is simply breathtaking. Pemberley Darcy is an amazing artist for sure, And the premise sounds so amazing too. I don’t know how MJ manages to come up with so many wonderful plot lines but her stories are always pure gems. Can’t wait for this one!
Lovely cover and thanks for a chance to win a copy. Good luck with the release.
A beautiful eye popping cover. Can’t wait to delve inside!
Does Jane marry Mr. Collins?

I love the premise! I love the cover. Can’t wait to read! Congrats MJ!
Looking forward to reading it – sounds like a fun premise!
I won an ebook the last time, so I hope someone else is just as lucky as I was.
I love the blue color of the dress that Elizabeth is wearing, and I wonder what she is thinking. Jane makes a courageous decision to marry without affection, but it changes her life.
Love the cover!
