Well the exciting news is that Brenda just released her first-ever sequel to one of her P&P variations – Proof of Love

Thank you, Meredith, for inviting me to stop by your wonderful blog to promote my latest novel, Journey of Love, which I just published on Amazon. It will be on Draft2Digital and KOBO very soon.
Journey of Love is the sequel to Proof of Love that was published in 2019. I received so many requests to write a sequel to Proof of Love that I promised my readers I would. Had I known all the obstacles that would arise during writing the sequel, I might not have been so optimistic. (smiles)
Between the covid pandemic, my diabetes and my husband’s health issues, it has been a slow process. Still, thanks to the help of two editors and all my wonderful betas, I was finally able to “put paid” to it, as Elizabeth Bennet might say.
Here’s the blurb for Journey of Love:
In the years since their marriage, Fitzwilliam and Elizabeth Darcy found themselves an excellent match and more in love than ever. Elizabeth was thankful that, despite her initial misgivings, God had answered her prayer to marry for the deepest love, whilst Fitzwilliam was grateful to have found a woman who loved him for himself.
Darcy had managed to secure Pemberly for his family, and Elizabeth had proven to be an excellent mother and a competent mistress, beloved by family, servant and tenant alike.
It is said that into each life some rain must fall, and in this book the Darcys had to weather a deluge of events that would test every aspect of their lives and threaten to put an end to their great love.
Will our dear couple survive a friend’s deceit, a sinking ship, and a final attempt by Lady Catherines to deprive Darcy of the only woman he has ever loved?
JOURNEY OF LOVE, the sequel to PROOF OF LOVE, is a stand-alone tale that can be enjoyed without reading the prior book.
Ooh a deluge of events…that sounds very compelling. I am eager to see how Darcy and Elizabeth weather them and all the challenges they overcome together.

Journey to Love is such a wonderful book! There are intriguing events that occur that keep you on the edge of your seat! Darcy and his adventure with thieves on the sea and Richard with a lovely lady!… This book will keep you on the edge of your seat!… I love this book!

Brenda Webb is a favorite writer of mine and IMHO sits firmly in the top tier of JAFF authors; one of the best of the very best. I have read all of her books, some of them more than once. I am also the proud owner of a number of her paperbacks which I read in the summer sun! I’m looking forward to diving into this new tale. I love Brenda’s books so am looking forward to reading this one, especially as it’s a sequel to the wonderful Proof of Love. I have read a couple of chapters but then life intervened, (plus im such an angst wimp!) I do hope 2024 is a better, healthier year for you Brenda.

This book is an answer to your question. I did not do an epilogue to PROOF OF LOVE or JOURNEY OF LOVE because I often think of what would happen next to this Darcy and Lizzy. 🙂 Does that mean there will be another book in this series?
