Austenesque Agenda – September 2020

Hi friends! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful start to…September?! 😮 What the? I can’t believe how fast August went! It feels like it just started! 💨

And to prove my point, I don’t really have anything much to show for what I’ve been keeping busy with in August! (aside from work and blogging) 😟

I did catch this gorgeous sunset on a super peaceful beach (that was very empty!). 🌅

Also, I went and saw the beach several hours before Hurricane Isaias arrived. It was really beautiful to see the stormy “atmosphere!” 🌫

And as always, there were plenty of hikes, reading outside, and visits with my family. 💕

What about you?

  1. Ironically, I have read all the books you intend to read. So I can hope you enjoy them as did I. Gorgeous photos.

  2. I agree, August was the fastest month ever! Love your beach photos. Living in the land-locked midwest, I really miss the ocean. I enjoyed the seaside scenes in Sandition and Persuasion.

  3. Those beach photos are stunning, especially the pre-storm photos! We get a lot of that weather too in my part of the world. It is strangely beautiful, seeing those dark clouds rolling in

    1. Thank you, Roseanne! I haven’t really visited the beach so close to a storm before…since it wasn’t too threatening a storm I was able to. I am really glad I did…did get a good bit wet though as it started to rain harder as I was trekking back to my car!

The clouds are my favorite part!

  4. Another good lineup. Drat! Is it really September? Love September but am always weary of the months that follow living in the north. Happy reading!

    1. I know what you mean…I love September because it still feels like summer here. But I know all these months start to go super fast and I just want to hold onto them! Hope your September goes well!

  5. I have been waiting for you to review some of these new books and your line up of authors is amazing. September is looking up!

  6. Considering that I’m doing absolutely nothing the year is flying by! (Although it seems I can’t remember when things were normal!) The long summer nights are a thing of memory now, it’s a shame we couldn’t take advantage! I’ve read a couple of your September books and am looking forward to your reviews and posts on the others.
Thank you for your gorgeous beach photos. Loved the sunset and the approaching storm looks very dramatic! (I think it’s been about 9 years since I saw the sea so I love your photos!)

    1. Lol! I feel the same way, Glynis! You would think that with less going on, I’d have more time on my hands…but that doesn’t seem to be true! I feel like I am always running out of time!

Oh I am so glad you like the photos! The ocean is definitely one of my favorite photo subjects! 😉 I usually take a photo each time I go.

  7. Gorgeous beach scenes with sun and storm. Looks like you have some lovely reading on the agenda and some exciting guests with their new books. Have a good September, Meredith!

    1. Thank you, Sophia! It has been fun to visit the nearby beaches at various times and in various conditions. I just haven’t gotten around to sunrise yet.

Hope you enjoy a wonderful September too!

  8. I love your pictures, Meredith, [hello to your Mr. Bingley]. You have a great lineup of fun things to share with us. Lots to read, review, interview, and share. What fun. Blessings to you and yours. Stay safe and healthy.

  9. What a great looking month of AR to look forward to, every one I’m either eager to hear what you thought of something I’ve already read, or the books I haven’t read yet.

My gosh, those pictures. I like both the calm and serene beach scenes, and the stormy ones. You are taking the most fantastic pictures, Girl!

    1. Aww, you are so lovely, Michelle! I am so happy to hear you are excited about this month’s selection of books and authors! 😉

Thank you so much! It is a love of mine. 🙂 Hugs to you!
