NEW and NOTEWORTHY

  • A NEW TEA!!!

Being unveiled HERE for the FIRST time is The Jane Austen Tea Series newest blend… Mrs. Jennings’ Delight!

A green tea with bright green apple flavor and an indulgent figgy finish. Perfect for winkling out news from friends over china cups.

  • A NEW PRINCE REGENT LINE!!

A Prince Regent line is in the works, and will be a small line of teas even Lady Catherine would be glad to have in her cupboard.

  • MISS LUCY STEELE!!!  A recently added tea to the Jane Austen Tea Series.

Country charm but not quite a peach!  Miss Lucy Steele joins the party in this black tea that will win you over with juicy country apricot,  sunshine gold petals of marigold and overtly polite and sweet vanilla. Despite general hesitation at a tea name Lucy Steele, upon tasting the tea, skeptics always returned to purchase one!  Perhaps she was judged too harshly. 😉

  • A FEATURED ARTICLE!!!   Bingley’s Teas and Tea Temptress, Julia were featured in a Minnesota newspaper, The Star Tribune.

GIVEAWAY TIME!!!  Today Julia kindly brings one pouch of her newest blend, Mrs. Jennings Delight and a package of shortbread coins to give away to one lucky winner!!!  (Both items are not even available on the website yet!)

  1. The Lucy Steele Tea, despite the name, seems right up my alley. Mrs Jennings Delight seems interesting too. Rearadmiral00 at gmail dot com.

  2. As a long time coffee drinker I am just recently discovering the joys of tea. The Emma’s Perfect Match sounds lovely. I’d love to try that one.

  3. Sweet Jane sounds like a lovely blend of flavors! Actually, any of those teas sound equally wonderful and they would give my favorite Earl Grey a run for his money 🙂

  4. How do I pick one tea? Well, I’m an Earl Gray fan, so Mr. Knightley’s Reserve would be one to try. But I also like green tea blended with roses, so Emma’s Perfect Match sounds good, too.

Hey, Mr. Knightley and Emma go together, wouldn’t they? I totally didn’t plan that, I swear!

It was a very nice article in the Star Tribune, by the way.

  5. It would be a toss up between Longbourn Wedding Tea and Emma’s Perfect Match! Elinor’s Heart and Marianne’s Abandon beckon too … oh, don’t make me pick one!

  6. OH, definitely Compassion for Mrs. Bennet’s Nerves! I often feel like her at this time of year as one flutters around decorating and baking and wrapping. While sipping, I’ll just sit and flutter my handkerchief.

  7. That is a very hard question, all the Jane Austen series teas I’ve tried have been so delicious. But I’m going to say Miss Elizabeth.

  8. I have to say I’m a sucker for apple flavoring so I’ll have to go with Mrs. Jennings. I’m already a fan of Bingley Tea so this was a fun surprise to see the guest post today.

    Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

  11. They all sound SO amazing. I’m an avid tea drinker. So having one of my favorite books: “Tea With Jane Austen” and drinking a nice cup of Sweet Jane Tea or even the newest one sounds like one of the most heavenly days in existence to me!

  12. I have and love Mr. Knightley’s Reserve and Emma’s Perfect Match, but I’d like to try the new ones, too! I like flavoured black teas that I can still add milk and sugar to. 😉 Was delighted to meet Julia and Kyle at the Brooklyn AGM in October!

  14. Sweet Jane, Elinor’s Heart, Compassion for Mrs. Bennet’s Nerves and Miss Lucy Steele all sound delicious (but they all sound delicious). 🙂 I think I could enjoy any of them as I love a good cup of tea! I have enjoyed reading about all the flavors. I must try them!
