Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Source: Purchased

A few of you may remember that several months ago I mentioned my affection for a precocious young knight named Ben Carlton (an original character of P. O. Dixon’s). For those of you not yet acquainted with Ben, he is Elizabeth’s fatherless son in Ms. Dixon’s remarkable Pride and Prejudicealternate path, He Taught Me to Hope – and he will melt your heart! In this Christmas-inspired sequel vignette, young Ben (a.k.a. Sir Lancelot) is on a mission to make this upcoming Christmas the most memorable of his young life. Recruiting Georgiana Darcy and Mrs. Reynolds to help accomplish his secret mission, Ben sets out determined to fulfill everyone’s dearest wish for Christmas this year. Welcome Julia Matson, owner of Bingley’s Teas, Ltd!

Today Julia Matson, tea specialist and owner of Bingley’s Teas, Ltd is sharing with us a couple of her recent events and adventures and some exciting news!

For those of you who don’t already know, Bingley’s Teas, Ltd is a small tea business that started in 2008. This charming online business specializes in loose tea and traditional style teas.  Julia Matson, in addition to being a certified tea specialist with fifteen years of experience, is also a Janeite, and in 2010 she created a Jane Austen inspired line of teas that now consists of more than  fifteen unique and flavorful blends!

NEW and NOTEWORTHY

  • A NEW TEA!!!

Being unveiled HERE for the FIRST time is The Jane Austen Tea Series newest blend… Mrs. Jennings’ Delight!

A green tea with bright green apple flavor and an indulgent figgy finish. Perfect for winkling out news from friends over china cups.

  • A NEW PRINCE REGENT LINE!!

A Prince Regent line is in the works, and will be a small line of teas even Lady Catherine would be glad to have in her cupboard.

  • MISS LUCY STEELE!!!  A recently added tea to the Jane Austen Tea Series.

Country charm but not quite a peach!  Miss Lucy Steele joins the party in this black tea that will win you over with juicy country apricot,  sunshine gold petals of marigold and overtly polite and sweet vanilla. Despite general hesitation at a tea name Lucy Steele, upon tasting the tea, skeptics always returned to purchase one!  Perhaps she was judged too harshly. 😉

  • A FEATURED ARTICLE!!!   Bingley’s Teas and Tea Temptress, Julia were featured in a Minnesota newspaper, The Star Tribune.

GIVEAWAY TIME!!!  Today Julia kindly brings one pouch of her newest blend, Mrs. Jennings Delight and a package of shortbread coins to give away to one lucky winner!!!  (Both items are not even available on the website yet!)

To be entered, leave a comment stating which tea from the Jane Austen Tea Series “tempts” you most!
