Which novels have you read? Any recommendations? Any on your TBR list?
The only ones (not mine…) I’ve read on this list are the two Bridget Jones books (which I loved!) and The Family Fortune (which I thought was pretty good, but I was hoping it would be funnier, I guess).
Nice job with all the lists & now the cross-referencing too. The habitual list-maker/organizer in me gives a big thumbs up!
I’m going to keep this list handy…but, oh, my goodness, there are SO many more than I thought there were!!
Oh my word! So many I haven’t read! I am amazed at this list, thank you so much for taking the time to put it together.
Are the ones by Belinda Roberts (Mr Darcy Goes Overboard and Prawn & Prejudice) different novels or just different titles? I got the impression they may be the same.
I’m not sure if they’d fit with your categorisation system but how about “All My Tomorrows” by Colette Saucier? There was also “Prude and Prejudice” by Francene Carroll. “Pride and Princess” by Sumner Day, not sure if these latter two particularly would be close enough to P&P to major the list, I think the first one is though.
And “The Importance of Being Emma” by Juliet Archer?
I can’t remember if its in your list but both Bridget Jones books were heavily influenced by Austen, the second one had a lot of Persuasion in, including a letter.
Isn’t it just overwhelming! I had no idea there were so many!
Yes, you are right about the two Belinda Roberts being the same. (I need to make special note of that like I did with Abigail Reynolds book, so thanks for bringing that to my attention!)
I completely forgot about All My Tomorrows and it is sitting on my TBR shelf! *facepalm* Will add it and the other two, it sounds like they belong on this list.
The Importance of Being Emma and both Bridget Jones are on this list already. The list is in order of when published, so that might be why you couldn’t find them.
Thanks for the help, Ceri!
