Austenesque Agenda – March 2025

Hi Friends! Happy March!

The highlight of my February was going on my first trip to Norway! 🇳🇴

I saw the Aurora Borealis a few times. 🌌
And enjoyed so many winter activities!! ❄️

It was my first time traveling somewhere with so much winter and cold temperatures. 🥶

And I was a little bit nervous, but I absolutely loved it. 🤗

What was the highlight of your February? 😊

  1. I am quite envious of your Norway trip. It looks like it was perfect. I love the picture of the Aurora (and the sled dog giving you a kiss). My February highlight was having a major bathroom remodel finished.
But the important question is which book to review? That is a hard one. I am going to pick at random and say A Mad Endeavor.

  2. I haven’t read most of these, so I look forward to your opinion. I had a lot of fun reading “Confined with Mr. Darcy,” but it might be a bit dated by now. Kind of like the excellent one that came out years ago before cell phones that relied on phone calls between the protagonists, so the hero (main character) had to keep trying to find phones or change. In any case, there are so many good books, I don’t know how you pick which ones to read!

    1. What an amazing trip you had!.Those photos are awesome! If you have extra time, maybe the Ali Scott one? They all sound good.

  3. As always, love your photos. I have not traveled to Norway but my daughter and her husband touched there as part of a cruise around the North Sea. She had her DNA tested and it turns out there is a small part Norwegian in her DNA.

  4. What fun and high adventure to do Norway in winter! Thanks for sharing your trip pics.

Looking forward to a couple on your stack, myself, and yay for a few nice guest posts.

    Have a good March!

  5. I loved seeing your photos and loved the fact you chose to visit my country! Seems you went to Finnmark. I really hope you had a nice stay, even in the cold winter.

Of the book you listed, I would love to read your review of Some Particular Evil.

  6. Hi Meredith!
What an amazing trip! The pic of the Aurora Borealis is so magic… even the same expression “Aurora Borealis” is so delightful (as Anne Shirley would say). You were very brave bearing such a cold temperature but I see you had some dog-friend helping you to be warm!
If you had some extra time, it would be fine to read “Some particular evil” 😉
Your March agenda is promising! I´m curious about Syrie James´novel
    Happy March 🙂
