There are 9️⃣5️⃣ new Austenesque releases for the month of July!
This list is never-ending! So many Austenesque books for July!
🍉 I’ve read 1️⃣ books from this list –
🍉 I actually don’t have any of these books on my TBR pile!
🍉 But I am especially eager to check out these two S&S inspired stories –
Persuasion: A BabyLit® Colors Primer by Jennifer Adams my have this for my granddaughter.
An excellent idea! It looks so cute!
I have read a few .
To catch a Poisoner, was great!
Is it just me or does it seem like some of the new JAFF being published these days is AI based?
Thank you, Sam!
I love the cover for that one!
Yeah…I was trying to find evidence on if any were AI or not. But couldn’t really determine or find any disclosures.
I’ve read To Catch a Poisoner – highly recommend, The Talented Daughters of Longbourn – recommend, The Stick -loved it, Four Days at Netherfield – very good, Elizabeth’s Covenant – recommend, Elizabeth in Italy – highly recommend, An Epic Surprise – very good, Affections and Wishes – highly recommend, and A Teasing Courtship – well DNF. I also got the audio book Falling for Mr Darcy – superb! On my TBR: Very Different Sort of Men and Cost of a Kiss. Phew! Is good to be retired and have reading time on vacation.
Thank you for listening to our audiobook, Terri!
Fantastic! That is quite a good amount of reading, Terri! Thank you for sharing your favorites and recs!
Read an epic surprise, which I think is the only book that has Mary Bennet and the ‘Colonel’ as a pairing.
Oh good to know! Thanks for sharing!
With school starting up again, this month I’m so behind! Thanks as always for your great lists!
I can understand that! There is always so much to do!
I have only read four of the books listed. Thanks for your hard work compiling this list, Meredith. I do have others on my Wish List.
Thank you so much, Shelia! I appreciate you checking out the post!
I’ve got two of them on my reading stack. I am definitely intrigued by the S&S variations there, too. 93 this month, whew!
MJ Stratton has a great S&S variation out to; What Ought to Have Been.
Right? It is so great to see more books for S&S being released!
I’ve only read Learning to Love so far but have some on my list and will check the others. I see there are a number of short stories by one author all about 50-60 pages! Releasing around 14 books in one month is a little concerning as to whether AI is involved. However there are plenty others to possibly add to my list. Thank you.
I agree. I was hoping that one of the few “reviews” there would at least have told us so.
Excellent choice, Glynis!
I think it is actually closer to 30! I’m not sure what to think or do…. I was trying to find more information, but there really aren’t any reviews.
Very excited about Dashed – I’ve loved Quain’s other Austenesque novels 🙂
Oh yes! That is exactly what I needed to hear. I’ve not ready any other books by this author, myself.
Wowser! I counted 26 new to me authors from the list above, 26!! I’m reading Don Jacobson’s new book and so far it is great! And there are at least 9 books that will go on my wish list as must-reads.
Can I just say it? Cuz who is going to complain? That’s quite a number of short works to flood the market place in one month, seems kind of weird marketing to me. How do you begin?
I’m looking forward to a couple of new Audio Books that have become available recently, plus the ones I’ve heard of coming out very soon.
Thank you as always Meredith, this list is invaluable to me, as I know it is to all of us fans of yours.
