Hi friends! Happy 2024! I hope your year is off to an amazing start!

December was such an eventful month!

There was Christmas events to see and enjoy around town. 🕯

Pup-sitting with Fezzik’s besties. 🐾

Time with family. 🫶🏼

And a mini-getaway to a tiny home! 🛖

In between all that I had work, recitals, Christmas shopping (that I was extremely late with!), and lots of fun reading and blogging! 💻🎄📖🎶

  1. Happy New Year to you and Fezzik, Meredith. Thank you for your continuing hard work in relation to your blog too, I do appreciate it. I really look forward to receiving them. As soon as they pop up in my email box, I cannot wait to open them. I had a very busy Christmas with friends and family and a mini break to Amble for the New Year which is on the beautiful Northumberland coast. Received lots and lots of JAFF books for Christmas too which I cannot wait to get stuck into.

    1. Thank you, Michelle! You are so kind, I appreciate all your sweet words. Given the trouble I’ve been having with blog/tech/email issues I’m glad you are receiving the emails!

So glad to hear you had a lovey Christmas and a mini break too!

Happy reading with your new JAFF reads!

  2. Happy New Year! I’m really looking forward to your posts this month. I love your mini break house. I had my 7year old twins staying overnight while their parents got their gift wrapping done and had a break. They all came to me on Christmas Eve but brought food with them and had a mini Christmas Day. My daughter was attempting to book flights but as she was choosing seats the price went up by $1800, so hopefully it will be cheaper next time she tries!

    1. Aww, thank you Glynis! I’ve been eager to stay on task with blogging, but wouldn’t you know when I finally do, the blog itself has some issues! Hopefully they are cleared up now.

That’s so wonderful that you had your family with you! But oof! It is scary when that happens with flight prices.

  3. You are so busy! But it looks like you’re having a wonderful time. Happy New Year to you and Fezzik! I look forward to joining you on the 15th.

  4. Happy New Year. I just bought Brenda’s new story so am looking forward to reading that. I have read several of those you have TBR. Great photos. Love the Christmas costumes on the dogs.

  5. Happy new year! Looks like January 2024 is starting off wonderfully, with much anticipated new releases!
The tiny home looks snug, hope you enjoyed your December celebrations.

  6. Looks like you have Jan. off to a great start. Nice lineup of guests and reviews. Gosh the pictures of Fezzik are so adorable. A four fluffy-fur ball family, what joy. I love seeing your pictures month to month. Happy New Year, Meredith. May this one bring all your dreams coming true.

    1. Thank you, friend! It was extra-special for us to have so many fur babies to celebrate Christmas with – we were actually outnumbered. 3 dogs and 3 cats (2 cats definitely did not want to be picked up for photos.

  7. Love the pics of Fezzik (and you, too!). I am so proud to be included in your blog this month and look forward to seeing the rest of your author interviews and reviews. Hugs.
