Austenesque Agenda – April 2023

Hi friends! So sorry it has taken a moment for me to get with the program for April!

But I’m here and determined to catch up! 👩🏻‍💻 📚

In March I had some of the usual things keeping me busy – work, dog sitting, Fezzik, fun with friends, but I also spent time seeking Spring! 🌷

It bloomed early in my neck of the woods, and I almost missed it. 🌸

And maybe the highlight of my month was a fun girls’ weekend in Nashville with my friend, Samantha! 🎸

We visited the Country Music Hall of Fame. 🤠

And we also checked out so many cool spots and heard music everywhere we went! 🎶

Now I want to hear from you. What fun did you have in March?

  1. Oh wow! I love your photos, a beautiful neighbourhood! What a busy month you had and another one planned? I can’t say I did much in March. I hoped to visit my Mum on Mother’s Day but alas there had been a bad car accident and the road was closed. I’d been sitting in traffic for 50 minutes before realising so I turned round and came home. I’d also sent a parcel to Australia containing a really great birthday card for my grandson’s 10th birthday only to check the tracking number and find it was delivered somewhere in the Netherlands a month after I posted it?????
The actual highlight was flowers and handmade cards from my twin grandsons for Mother’s Day:)

  2. The blooming flowers are glorious. Thank you for sharing. We had snow here in Oregon this last weekend so my spring bulbs are still in hiding.

What a terrific line-up. Happy April, Meredith.

  3. Yes I also love the photos and the music Hall of Fame is spectacular. Looks like you have another great month coming up. Looking forward to your reviews. And to your guests.

  4. Fun to see your results from searching for spring around you. Ours is just getting going here. Glad you enjoyed your trip to the Country Music Hall of Fame, that would be fun.

Enjoy your reading stack this month and yay for all your guests.

  5. Hi Meredith, what a fun time you had in Nashville! And the spot of Elvis Presley! It’s such an iconic place!
I love the pics of the blossoms 😉
Your agenda is full of events! I’m looking forward to Riana’s book as well as Christina Dudley’s.
    Happy April!

  6. Your trip looked like loads of fun. I’m really looking forward to all the reviews and author visits this month. Keep those gorgeous photos coming.

  7. Great photos, as usual. We celebrated several birthdays this past month. Looking forward to reading your reviews. I did read several of the books you listed. We have had daffodils for a while and now hyacinths are blooming, also. No tulips, yet. Trees have buds also.

  8. Spring is in full swing here in South London with our plum tree looking very promising for this year. The temperatures are still dropping at night so fingers crossed. Lovely images of Nashville, Meredith!
