Austenesque Agenda – March 2023

Hi friends! I’m so excited we are in March – that means Spring and Summer are so close! 🌷

How was your February? Mine was fantastic! I spent the whole month dog-sitting (and Fezzik joined me!) 🐶🐾

I had a month full of fun with these pups who are like Fezzik’s cousins – (their names are Brutus and Samson – some big names for some small pups!)
Even though they were small dogs, sometimes sharing the bed together got a little crowded. 🛏

We had fun going on walks together and smelling all the things. 🦮

We made dog biscuits together for the first time. 👩🏻‍🍳
I had 3 very special Valentine dates (and all three gave me lots of kisses!) ❤️🤍❤️
I had lots of supervision and company when I did my admin work during the day and my blog work at night. 👩🏻‍💻

And we all had fun adventures going to the vet and groomers together! 🛁💉

That was my fun month, what did you do in yours? 💕

  1. I love your pictures. Those babies are adorable. You have a busy list of books to read and review and a list of authors to interview. I have a list of books I also want to read. I look forward to reading your reviews and hearing from your guests. Blessings.

  2. What a busy month!! I am sure the dogs will help you ☺️

I am very interested to see your thoughts on some of the books and of course on visiting with the guest authors. But mostly I am intrigued by the Northanger Abbey fiction…. Have a great March!

  3. Such cute pups! And King Arthur bakery mixes are the best! Looking forward to more book reviews and author visits in March

  4. What a fun month you had with the pups! Love the pictures and looking forward to your reviews and interviews for March! I have read 4 of the books on your list. February for me, was quiet with lots of snow. Got some wonderful books read. March is looking pretty busy and more snow coming in tonight and tomorrow…looking forward to Spring!

  5. Love the photos of the dogs and you. We have several birthdays to celebrate this month: one being our granddaughter. That will be fun as the whole family gets together, which is rare, except for several holidays and birthdays. Enjoy your reading. I look forward to your reviews. Cold here with lots of rain.

  6. Hi Meredith!
What a fun “puppy” month you enjoyed! I admire your ability to handle with these 3 little friends!
I hope they enjoyed the dog cookies 😉
Your March Agenda has some new authors to me and I’m curious about them. And I see a variation of “Northanger Abbey”, it’s a chance to read more of friendly Catherine Morland.
Have a bright March, amiga mía!

  7. Now that the month is 1/4 over I’m here to say what an impressive agenda for March you’ve listed. And I’m looking forward to them all. Oh, those pup pictures, lovelovelove.

  8. I wonder how you decide which books to review? I’m a first time author and getting reviews outside my friend group has proven difficult. I would love to find people who really understand Austen’s writings to review my book. Any suggestions?

  9. What darling companions! How you managed to pose them so well is a marvel. 😀

And what’s this I see? In League with Mr. Darcy is on your reading lineup for this spring? How you find time to review so many books is another wonder. Thank you for all you do for the JAFF community, Meredith.
