  1. I’ve enjoyed several. A novel plot treat was The Colonel and the Lady, as was Elizabeth’s Secret Baby. The remaining KUs that interest me fill the KU slots on my tablet.

  2. I read Jennifer’s book as it was posting and loved it. I intend to buy it and read it again soon.
I’ve also read all the books in the Q&Q anthology and loved those.
I have several others on my list which are definitely must buys.
Many thanks as usual Meredith. 🙂

  3. So many wonderful books and I’ve only read three. I’m excited to see my new book on the list. Thanks so much! Jen Red

  4. August certainly did fly by. Nuthin’ new to say about that, of course. One of the most important thing I can say, though is that these lists every month are so important to all of JAFF readers. Yes, we remember to thank you for all the work from time to time. Sometimes it strikes me more so than normal, like this time, because there are 19 books on the list of books above I haven’t heard of, seen a thumbnail of the cover, and most of them I’m not familiar with the author either, not a blip on my radar. But it’s even more surprising when I do read one of the authors, why haven’t I seen them? And I’m on Amazon every day browsing JAFF and clicking on new books.

Well, I do thank you. I’ll never catch up to reading all I want to read, and it gets more daunting every month, but I still like to know what’s out there and give new authors a chance. Poor me, ha!

    Have a great September, Meredith.

  5. I was dubious going into the book “A Most Attentive Mother” but well done author! This is a younger and softer Lady Catherine who marries for a second time, to Mr. Bennet. She still had the characters we know, stubborn and assertive but that actually helped those around her. I liked her to the last page. I appreciated that Jane and Bingley took their time. But why did Darcy? The fact that he held back for some long dragged the story and made their romance cold. I rated for Lady Cat and the great writing, the only romance I really liked was between Lady Cat and Mr. Bennet.
