There are 5️⃣4️⃣ new Austenesque releases for the month of April!
What a beautiful array of new Austenesque!
🌷 I haven’t read any of these new releases (not counting the audiobook releases)
🌷 I am so thrilled to have 2️⃣ of these gorgeous books – Match Made at Matlock: A sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice by Jan Ashton, Julie Cooper, Amy D’Orazio, and Jessie Lewis and An Affectionate Heart: A Pride and Prejudice Variation by Heather Moll in my soon TBR pile! 😍
🌷 And I’m intrigued by some others, such as Sense and Second-Degree Murder (Jane Austen Murder Mysteries, 2) by Tirzah Price and Maria Bertram’s Daughter: A Mansfield Park Sequel by Lucy Knight – how will I find the time to read them all!?
Thank you for your work gathering and sharing this list. I have only read 3 of the books listed. I do have several on my TBR pile.
I have read 5 from this list, still so many more to add to my long list of wanted!
I have read The Beginning of Prudence
Thank you for collecting this information. While I’ve read several, I always appreciate this convenient opportunity as a double check of what’s become available.
I haven’t read any those, but I do have two on the TBR pile. The alien one sounds like a hoot.
This one caught my eye: Sense and Second-Degree Murder
I just finished Sense and Second Degree. One sister really shines in this one. 🙂
Kirk, I rely on your little recommendations. 🙂
I have only read 3 of the books listed but 2 went straight to my favourite list. An Affectionate Heart and The Marriage Bargain were absolutely fabulous reads.
I see quite a few moderns on your list that I have missed out on and I will check those out.
I’ve read a couple of these, have another to read and several more on my list to buy! What I really need is extra time! Even though I’m retired I still struggle, especially because I do have to reread favourites along the way! Your lists just add to my struggle Meredith but I’m very grateful anyway! 🙂
Thank you as always, Meredith. You must know from the many many comments over the years how much we all appreciate the work you put into these lists for us!!! I never want you to think I/we take that for granted. But oh dear, if these should ever go away???!!!
I have listened to one of the new books from the list above; the collaboration from Quills & Quatros, A Match Made at Matlock. Oh my gosh. I wanted to start over right away and listen again. Really, a quadruple home run. Actually, quintuple home run counting the narrator Stevie Zimmerman! And that Viscount Saye, such a naughty, delightful, frustrating, endearing hero.
There are five must/will read titles from this month’s list, and golly, at least that much more ‘want to reads.’ What a great month.
Did I count three (3)! stories based on Cinderella??
So much to read and so little time. Thank you for all your lists! They keep me informed of what is out there. 🙂
I’m looking forwartd yo reading Rosings Park Spring Ball & A Match Made at Matlock. But there are so many good ones that I will likely add a ton more stories 🙂
Thanks for the list as always Meredith 🙂
I have read and LOVED A Match Made at Matlock and have started An Affectionate Heart today 🙂
