There are 3️⃣6️⃣ new Austenesque releases for the month of February!
Very impressive for this shorter month!!!
💘 I have read and loved 1️⃣ book from this list – Jane and the Year Without a Summer (Being a Jane Austen Mystery Book 14) by Stephanie Barron!
💘 And I have 4️⃣ others in my soon TBR pile – Any Fair Interference by Nan Harrison, Bitter Mournings: A Pride & Prejudice Variation by Linda Gonschior, Harriet: A Jane Austen Variation (Warleigh Hall Press Jane Austen) by Alice McVeigh, What Happened on Box Hill: Austen University Mysteries, Book One by Elizabeth Gilliland! 😍
💘 One book that I am intrigued by is PURR-suasion: A Jane Austen Twist by Renee Riva
Read Harriet by Alice McVeigh, and Jane and the Year Without a Summer by Stephanie Barron.
The two Mary Bennet stories in Five Weddings and Wickham by JP Christy are of interest but unfortunately not the Elizabeth/Darcy ones. Pity they are not available separately
That’s awesome, Vesper! Sounds like you found some good ones to enjoy!
I have read: The Sins of Their Fathers, Her Sisterly Love, Skirmish & Scandal, Any Fair Interference, and To Refuse Such a Man. Thanks for all your hard work gathering these lists, Meredith.
My pleasure, Sheila! Thanks so much for sharing the books you’ve read!
Oh so many eonderful books, I cannot seem te de ide which to read first 🙂
I so understand, Charlotte!
I have read the two Quills &Quartos and Valerie Lennox releases.
I need to check the others, and will probably add some to my want-to-read list.
That’s great, Elodie!! Excellent choices!
Hi Meredith,
February has been some kind of crazy thing for me but, fortunetely, everything is OK now. I hardly read your blog but I expect to catch up in March. I see in your list one novel I´m really interested in like “Harriet” and it has very good ratings in Amazon so I hope you read it soon, LOL, because I´m afraid it will take me more time until I can put my hands on it 😉
Thanks for this list, I think it´s more important that the housework list LOL, or, at least, much more interesting and satisfying.
Hi Teresa – I’m sorry to hear your February was crazy! I hope your March is calmer and that you have time to yourself.
LOL! I love that you feel this way about this list! It is definitely more interesting and satisfying!
I love that audiobooks are becoming more mainstream for the Jaff genre! And how exciting to see the stories translated to other languages!!
I have read the ones I wanted to read, aside from The Sins of their Fathers. That is lined up in my kindle app for March reading list.
Absolutely! I’m excited for that too! It is great that there is variety of formats and types of books for all!
Happy reading!
I have read Any Fair Interferance, Sisterly Love and Sins of the Fathers. They were very different but still enjoyable! I am interested in Valerie Lennox book but never read anything by her. I might just have to give it a go!
Wonderful choices, Katherine! I feel the same way – you must share what you think when you do! I’ve seen so many of her books on these lists!
I was fond of the Jane Fairfax portion of “Harriet” but not fond of the Harriet Smith part. I was okish w Box Hill but really liked it’s “prequel”Sly Jane Fairfax. Hmmm …theme..
Interesting, Kirk! Maybe a theme. I’m loving all the Emma attention lately! Thanks so much for sharing!
My, the service you do for us Meredith. Thank you. I haven’t read any of the new books yet, but a couple are definite want-to-reads, Tiffany Thomas’s, and Don Jacobson’s books.
What surprises me the most is how extensive the list is of authors I’ve yet to read, at all. Some names I’m familiar with and when I see their names I feel so bad I haven’t read them yet. The rest are completely an unknown quantity. I have read two of the audio books that have become available, Maria Grace’s Dragon book, and C.P. Odom’s work. Thanks for listing the books written in different languages. I cannot read anything but English, which I regret, but I am so glad they are becoming available to those readers. I hope that’s a trend.
I have been reading this past month, but I’m trying to faithfully hit that TBR pile, (some success,) and read out of my genre comfort zone (not much success yet.)
Hi Michelle! Thank you so much for your kind words and remarks! I feel the same about all the authors I haven’t read – I wish I had the time to learn more about their stories and read them,
Good for you for tackling your TBR pile, I am in the same boat. I’m needing to catch up on 2021 more before I get with 2022!
I’ve read two and have two more on my TBR pile. What a great month of releases! Thanks, Meredith!
That’s wonderful, Sophia! I appreciate you sharing!
35 stories–impressive
Especially with February being the shortest month!
Alas I haven’t read any of these actual books! 🙁
I do have a number of them on my wish list and I will check out the others. Thank you so much. Happy reading!
Hope you get the chance to enjoy some of these books soon, Glynis!
