  1. I have read 8 of these. Thanks for all the hard work you do putting these lists together, Meredith, and…(laughing) letting us know how far behind we are in keeping up with these books.

  2. So many great books!!! I’m most looking forward to reading Twists of fate, Joana Starnes & Mr. Darcy’s Household, Lyr Newton.

  3. Hi Meredith!
Well, this summer I’ve been reading a lot, in fact I think I had never had so many time to read which is wonderful!
Thank you so much for the effort you put into compiling such a huge list, WOW, 47 releases in August!!!
There are a good deal which capture my attention like “Death and Sensibility ” and “The Jane Aysten fairytales” by M.Mitt but I haven’t read the opinions in internet so I can’t recommend them to you…
    A big hug!

  4. That time again! Thanks so much Meredith for doing this! I don’t have audiobooks so not counting those I’ve read three, Susan Adriani, Joana Starnes and Christie Capps, all fabulous! I have some on my list including Julie Cooper, Brigid Huey, Melanie Rachel. Christine Combe and Cassandra B Leigh and I will check out the rest.
I’m currently rereading books on my kindle!

  5. Transforming Mr. Darcy, The matchmaker and Blinded by pride are downloaded and ready to read as soon as I find a minute or two! I’m so excited for them and can’t wait to look into other new releases That you mentioned!!!

    1. Going to try For better or for Worse on Audiobook! It is wonderful that so many of the new JAFF are issuing the AB at time of publication.

  6. I’ve read Misunderstandings and Ardent Love and Nameless. I have a couple more of those on the wish list.

  7. I’ve only read one of the new books, Joana Starnes’ Twists of Fate. But I want to read Julie Cooper’s, Brigid Huey’s, and Susan Adriani’s books. I’ve got Christie Capps’ new book next on my TBR. There are some other titles I’m curious about but I don’t know the authors’ writing yet.

Always happy to see your list of the new audio books, because for some reason Audible just doesn’t recognize the popularity of the genre to its fans. I keep seeing the same 10 recommendations ‘to me’ every month. Crazy. I do a lot of searching. But rely on the author’s newsletters, Facebook page or other Austen-lovers pages on FB.

And I’m always grateful for the work you do for us each month, Meredith. Thank you!

    1. Apparently, I have to retract my statement in the last paragraph above regarding notification on Audible about new JAFF. I just looked today and lo and behold they have gotten much better and had large list of new JAFF books to recommend. Hurray! I’m glad to have to correct myself.

  8. Read Sketches and Secrets of Summer by Leenie Brown, and will be buying the paperback of Parlance at Pemberley: An Above-Stairs/Below-Stairs Mystery following the Adventures of Miss Mary Bennet by S.M. Klassen to add to my Mary Bennet collection

  9. I’ve read 13, most of which were very enjoyable. I send a strong thank you to all of the authors who offered their works as KU options.

  10. Goodness, what a list!
I read Joana Starnes’s TWISTS of FATE and loved it. Loved.

(I read THE COLONEL’S BROTHER in an early manuscript in 2017 and a couple of Don Jacobson’s first editions.)
