Help friends! I have lost the month of October…I could swear it was just here a minute ago! 🎃💨 October is one of my favorite months, mostly because of the beautiful weather and color changes and yet it is always one that goes too quickly!! 🍁🍂
While I didn’t see a lot of leaves changing color (yet), I did spend a lot of time outside!
I went on a trip to the mountains with my mom to pick apples. 🍎
I got to pup-sit for the most adorable and loving pair of pups. 🐶
And I enjoyed exploring some local historical sites with my family. 🏛

Lovely photos…as always. I have only read two of the books you plan to read. Thanks for sharing with us here.
Thank you, Sheila! I know three of my planned reads are being released just this month. I’m staying pretty current for a change!
I can’t believe October is past already too. I love your pictures, Meredith. My mom and I peeled and sliced enough apples for a pie and dozens of jars of applesauce and apple butter. Our house smelled yummy for days. What a great author line-up. I am most eagerly looking forward to Pamela Lynne’s visit since she has been quiet for a long while. That usually means she’s been up to mischief. I can’t wait to find out. Enjoy November!
Ooh! Fun! My mom and I want to make some applesauce and apple butter, too! Our first time for making both! I’m looking forward to the smell!!
I hope you enjoy a lovely November too!
I love fall apples! Would love to go pick some. Looking forward to all the author interviews and books you’ll review. I’ve read only two of them thus far.
We have been wanting to do it for years! Had to drive 5 hours away, but it was so much fun!
Gorgeous photos as always, thank you! What a busy busy month you have. I’m looking forward to your reviews and interviews.
Volume 3 of Sanctuary? Love it! Love the whole series! Already on third read!
I also love Dearest Friends. I’ve read that more times than I can remember!
I’ve read a couple of the others and have more on my list. Good luck with it all!
Thank you, my friend! It IS going to be busy!! I am excited though, I love my time blogging!
I am in the middle of it now, and I think I picked the perfect week to read it! I know I am loving this series as much as you do!
I agree, October passed far too quickly, but look how much you accomplished! Those puppies are too cute!
I’m looking forward to your November reviews!
I know, right?! I miss them so much, they just want to cuddle and love all day long!
Can’t believe it’s November already! You’ve got some great books on your agenda. I thoroughly enjoyed Love Unsought by Kay Bea and its companion short story, The Adventures of Miss Olivia Wickham.
Right? It is already going so fast! I have heard a lot of good things about that one – I can’t wait to get to it!
October is my favorite month as well. Your pictures are great! Looking forward to all of your November posts.
Thank you! I am loving YOUR photos! Glad you are getting out and enjoying the lovely season!
Hi Meredith!
Autumn is such a delightful season!. The apples look so tasteful 😉
And coming to the subject of your agenda, I’m looking forward to your thoughts about the “Bennet affair” given that I received this book for my birthday.
The cover of “Love unsought” is so beautiful, don’t you think so?
I’ve already filled out the form of the Jolabokaflod and hope more readers join this charming idea of yours 🙂
Have a pleasant November!
Yes! So many fun things to enjoy at this time of year!
I hope you end up enjoying The Bennet Affair as much as I did! It is very unique!
And I do agree – I love the soft beauty of Love Unsought’s cover.
So very happy you are taking part in Austenesque Jolabokaflod!
I hope to catch up a little after being out of town and in the hospital. Great to see JAFF thriving as usual.
Soooooo happy to learn you are doing well and see you hear again my friend! I hope you continue in good health!
Great pictures! I see the pups are back too! Have you decided if you will get one? Yes, October flew by and your November line-up looks fantastic! So happy to see Pamela Lynne on the line up! Actually, excited to all the authors you have lined up. I know Elizabeth Adams has been busy on a saga that I am looking forward to. I did sign up for Jolobokoflod! What a great idea!
Thank you, Carole! Yes!! I am soooooo happy I got to spend another full week loving and taking care of these two!! They are the best!!
I am very glad you are as excited about the author visits as I am!! It is an exciting group this month!
We hit the orchard and farmer’s market in October, too. Love seeing you had a good time with your family and the cute puppies. Nice line up of guests this month. Enjoy your review reads. I loved Gentleman Jim.
Oh wonderful! Apples from local orchards are so great! I wish we lived closer to the ones we went to!
I am so happy to hear you loved Gentleman Jim! It will be my first Mimi Matthews!
Lovely pictures Meredith! I cannot believe that October is gone. You have a great line up of authors that I am excited to hear from.
Thank you, Shelley! I am still in denial about it! 😉
I am so happy you are looking forward to the author visits!!
I love seeing your pictures…all the time…but especially when they include your family. Ahhhh apples. Aren’t those the same pups you sat for last time, the ones that had you contemplating getting your own???
Awesome agenda, I’ve only read one of the books so far but I love Mimi Matthews and have been looking forward to Gentleman Jim. I’m excited for all the guests too! If we thought October went quickly, November will just be a blur with the holiday and all.
You are so very kind, Michelle! Thank you!!
Yes! They are!! I am so lucky to spend more time with them! And they are really making me wish I had my own. Maybe someday soon!
Yay! I am looking forward to it too! I have heard such fantastic things about Mimi Matthews!
The only normalcy I have found this year has been in books.
denise
At least you have that, right?
The best!

Great lineup too, I can’t wait for your reviews and the featured authors posts.
Take care, have a lovely and cosy November and thanks again for your beautiful blog!
Thank you, my friend! I am so glad you enjoyed them!
I hope you are enjoying a lovely start to your month and that all is going well!
