  1. Wow! That is a huge lust! So much choice for lovers of JAFF!

I’m so pleased you will be reading and reviewing A Quest for Mr Dary some time this summer, Meredith. ❤️ I do hope you enjoy it.

For myself, I cannot wait to get Jane and Me: My Austen Heritage by Caroline Jane Knight. Caroline is so lovely, and her stories of growing up in Chawton House are fascinating!

I also want to read Paula Byrne’s (which I think is a re-release?) Beyond that, I’m open to ideas, but know I’ll love anything by J Dawn King and Jennifer Joy!

      1. Love that typo, Cass! I think you’ll enjoy both of Joy’s and Jennifer’s books. I’m definitely going for Jane and Me, too.

    1. Hi Cass!! I am excited too! I’ve been hearing so many great things about your book and I was already so excited to read it! 🙂 I completely agree with you about Caroline Jane Knight’s book. It looks wonderful and definitely one I hope to read soon! You are correct about the Paula Byrne book, it is a rerelease. I believe the original wasn’t really available in the US and is now out of print. That one looks interesting too! So many choices! 😉

  2. Wow! So many books! That must mean there are lots of Austen lovers out there. 😉 So far, I have read Clash and loved it.

  3. Thank you yet again! I have added a few to my wishlist and I have read four on this list so far (J. Dawn King, Don Jacobson, Eliza Shearer, Jennifer Joy). I can’t wait to read ‘A Quest for Mr. Darcy’, ‘Mendacity and Mourning’, ‘Progression Vol 3’, ‘Not an Heiress’, ‘Jane & Me’, ‘Clash’ and a couple of others. Now to find the time to read them all!

  4. Awesome list! And good choices Meredith!, I’m looking forward to reading your review of “Friends and Enemies” 🙂

  5. Yeah, that list bowls me over. I’ve got about ten of them on my wish list. I’m reading Jane of Austin right now. Just started, but so far so good. 🙂

And I just realized that this list doesn’t even have the re-releases on audiobook or it would be even longer. Whew!

    1. Oh awesome, Sophia! I think I saw you gave it 5 stars on GR! Knowing you liked it will definitely bump it up on my list for sure. 🙂

Oh I know! Can you imagine if I posted those?!? We’d be hitting three digits!

  6. It amazes me the number of JAFF books that come out now. Several of those on your list I have on my TBR pile, several on a wish-list and several I had no idea existed. Wow! You are working hard to gather all these titles for us. Thank you. I have clicked several for my wish list so I am looking forward to watching their reviews in the future. Blessings Meredith…

    1. I agree, Jeanne! I always find many that I’ve never knew existed. 🙂 It is a labor of love to do this list each month, I’m glad if it helps out other readers. Hope you are enjoying a wonderful week!

  7. Aargh! My comment has disappeared! Apologies if two turn up, Meredith.

I’m sure you’re going to love the three I’ve read on this list: Cass Grafton’s, Joy King’s and Jennifer Joy’s books are all great reads and Cass’s is definitely my favourite of the year so far. How can it be that we’re already halfway through 2017?

Earlier this morning, I read the free sample of Jane and Me on Amazon and it looks to be a fascinating read. A friend recently gave me an Amazon gift card, so I think I’ll be splurging and going for the hardback version of that. A percentage of the sales are going to the Jane Austen Literary Foundation, too, so all sales are supporting a wonderful cause.

    1. P.S. Forgot to add in my resubmitted comment – thanks for all the hard work that compiling this list must be, Meredith!

    2. Oh I’m so sorry that your comment disappeared, Anji! Do let me know if you notice that happening again!

I am so glad to hear how much you loved Cass’s new book!! I cannot believe 2017 is halfway now, it still feels like it just started!

The cover for Jane and Me is so stunning! I don’t blame you for wanting to get the hardback version! And yes, how wonderful that it is supporting such a worthy cause! I hope to read that one myself!

  8. I’m always amazed at how many new books come out each month! Thanks for putting these monthly list together, much appreciated! ❤️

So many to add to my TBR list!

    1. Me too, Dung! Some authors keep themselves especially busy! I don’t know how they do it! I need more hours in the day! 🙂 Thanks so much for your lovely comment, my friend!

  9. I have read Clash, The Inseparable Mr. and Mrs. Darcy, A Quest for Mr. Darcy, Foiled Elopement, Friends & Enemies, Miss Darcy’s Beaux, Mendacity & Mourning and Love’s a Funny Thing. I have on my Kindle Exile: Kitty Bennet & the Belle Epoque. I picked up a number of older releases with the sales mentioned on Goodreads so I have a lot to keep me busy. Blown away each month by all the releases and it doesn’t stop. Thank you for gathering these lists together again, Meredith.

    1. That’s a great list, Sheila! So many of the ones that you read are ones I hope to read soon! It’s so great that this genre is growing so much, it definitely keeps me happy to know there are so many books available to read about my favorite characters!
