ANF

Hi dear readers!!!  This post is unique because it is coming to you from an airport!  o_O I don’t think any of my other posts have been worked on and published from such a location! 😉

Mr. Bingley have just completed our second flight out of four for the day and we have a couple of hours here in Miami so I thought it would be a good time to get my monthly post of all the Austenesque books published in December!  (Just incase anyone has some big reading plans for 2017 and wants to be up-to-date on all recent Austenesque!)

Here’s a list of Austenesque Novel Finds for December 2016 for your perusing pleasure!

*This is a list of books published, not my personal recommendations.

It looks like Austenesque authors keep busy writing and publishing through all the hustle and bustle of the holidays!  There are 36 new Austenesque releases for the month of December!

There are so many to choose from!  Which ones do you want to read?

Which of these books have you read?

I love how many Christmas and holiday stories were published this month! 🙂  I haven’t read any on this list yet and don’t have any of them in my TBR pile yet, so I’d love to know if you have any recommendations!  A lot of these authors would be new-to-me and I always appreciate hearing what others think!

  1. I haven’t read any of these yet Meredith but I have been lucky enough to win Miss Bingleys Christmas. I really like the look of The Whisky Wedding, I did enter for a giveaway but can’t remember the end date however I will definitely be getting that. There are a number of others which I will be checking out and I look forward to seeing what you pick.

    1. Hi Glynis! Both Miss Bingley’s Christmas and The Whisky Wedding caught my eye too! I’m looking forward to checking some of these lovely new reads out!

  2. Happy New Year Meredith!
What a fun way of blogging at an airport! . I’ve never tried it because with so many people I find difficult to concentrate LOL!
I imagine you’ll be flying when you read the comments and I hope both of you have enjoyed your holidays at Colombia. Was the weather nice and hot?
I haven’t read any of the titles and I don’t know the authors but I’ve seen there are some novels by a Ney Mitch and they sound good 🙂
Thanks for the list!. I have to plan my reading list for this January and I hope I have time to read some novels! 😉

    1. Hi Teresa!!!

LOL! It was fun! I had 4 hours so I really couldn’t think of a better way to spend my time (other than reading!)

Thank you for leaving me a comment to come back to! 🙂 The weather was perfect! Not too hot, just warm enough to be in shorts and T-shirts everyday.

Yes, I thought so many of the authors were newer this month. Hope you get the chance to do some reading this month!

  3. Meredith,what a list!

Must admit that most are new to me.
I’ve read about Brenda Webb’s new book and I definitely want to read it.

Must check out some of the others.

Hope your Janisry is fun and book filled!!

    1. Thanks for checking out this list, Mary!

I’m so excited to see Brenda’s book!!! Wow! What an unexpected surprise!

Hope 2017 is treating you well so far!

  4. Happy New Year Meredith & Mr. Bingley! Hope you had a wonderful time in Colombia! Thanks again for this monthly list! I have read ‘A Very Mary Christmas’ by Leenie Brown that I quite enjoyed! I am hearing good things about Miss Bingley’s Christmas too. I still have to read it though. I was thrilled to see Brenda Webb has a new book out so that is now on my wishlist! Ney Mitch’s sound interesting as well. I will have to go and check out some of these other authors that are new to me. Safe travels home!

    1. Thank you, Carole! You are so sweet! 🙂 We did have such a great time in Colombia, it was a little hard to leave! I kept seeing that title and it was only until I started typing the post did I realize it said Mary and not Merry! LOL! I’m so glad to hear that one was enjoyable!!

Thanks for your kind wishes! I hope you get some reading time to enjoy this month!

  5. This is new – from an airport – good for you. I wouldn’t be able to concentrate with people all around. I love your lists but I must say I am feeling so overwhelmed (more than usual) with all the new releases!!! Happy New Year and safe journeys.

I have only read 3 of the above novels although I do have a couple of others on my kindle.

    1. LOL! Yep, I don’t think it will be happening too often! I only bring my laptop on long trips. But it worked out since I didn’t have time to work on this post until we were on our way home!

Hope 2017 is treating you well so far, Sheila!

  6. Sooooo many books and so little time! The Ney Mitch ones look particularly interesting, but I’m a little wary when I see books being published so closely together. I know a longer wait between books isn’t necessarily an indicator of quality and that people write at different speeds but on the other hand I think we have all read books that could have done with a bit more time spent on them. I’m sure you know what I’m trying to say, you are much better with words than me!

    1. Hi Ceri! Yes, I quite agree! I do know what you mean…it does seem like this author publishes a lot each month. Not sure if these books were written ahead of time or if that is the author’s pace. I’d be curious to see some reviews. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, my friend!

  7. After checking your list twice, I decided to give Admiral Wentworth a try. Thanks!! My review….3.5 An odd, yet super sweet short story. One great typo….Water Elliot!!!

  8. Gosh, I’ve heard of some of these but not that many. Lots of new authors there. Still, your lists are a wonderful resource to be able to come back to and check up on things.
