Yay! I’m so glad to hear this! 🙂 Many thanks for all your kind words, Paige! I’m always happy to see you visit!
WOW! What a lovely collection of goodies you have put together. I look forward to joining the group reading of The Missing Manuscript of Jane Austen.
Thank you, Carol! I love Jane Austen related prizes and I love all these items these artist have donated! Glad you are joining our group read!
This will be a re-read for me and I’m looking forward to participating!
Great! Rereads of our favorites are always fun, right? 🙂
Hi Meredith – I’ve not participated in a group read before so I thought I’d give it a try. Syrie’s book has been on my TBR list for a long time so I’m anxious to get started! The giveaways are all great too. Thanks, Leslie
Yay! I’m so glad you want to join us. I’m really excited about reading this book together and I’m glad you like the prizes!
I’m hoping to be able to participate. This sounds fun.
Even if you are not able to keep up with the posts or a little late, that would be totally fine! Thanks for trying to fit this in!
Meredith congratulations on your 7 years of blogging! I thought I could participate but unfortunately the timing is not going to work for me. I have company arriving on Saturday and I will be scrambling to finish up some last minute things. I have read and loved Syrie’s book so everyone is in for a treat! Fabulous prizes! Good luck everyone!
Thank you, Carole! I appreciate it! Since you read the book already, do feel free to stop by and share your thoughts! We will have some questions posted each day and it is totally fine for you to come and join in if you like!
Received my copy late last week and am already in Lyme … hard to put it down. I love getting into Jane’s thoughts. Syrie has done an amazing job. Definitely count me in, and will try to get to as many of these events as possible. Many thanks for the giveaway offers!
LOL! Couldn’t wait, could you! I love the way Syrie wrote Jane, felt very much like I expected she would be. Hope you can join in the discussions!
I already own and have read this book, now I’ll have to review it!! I do remember enjoying it however
Great! It was one my faves to before I started blogging! Looking forward to finally writing a proper review for it myself!
It seems unfortunately I won’t be able to join in this one =(. I haven’t read the book and I don’t have a way to get a copy, electronic or physical, by the time the read starts up. I hope you guys all have fun and enjoy the book.
Sorry you can’t join us, Amanda! Maybe next time. 🙂
I’m in!!! Will start the book today! 😀
Woot! I started it last night! Happy reading!
Thank you, Meredith! Happy reading to you, too!
Thought I’d have to swerve it but really want to read it. I was in Bath for the Jane Austen Festival the weekend gone and I’m exhausted since I got back. I walked the length and breathe of the place at least twice!!! I’m still finding it hard to get back into the 21st century having immersed myself in Regency times.
How lovely to have our head full of the Regency time period! The Festival looked to be so much fun! Hope you had a blast! 🙂
What an amazing selection of prizes. I am very excited!!
Can anyone tell me is it here on this post that we’re discussing the book? I’m not clear on that.
Hi Teresa! I just posted the questions/discussion topics for Day One. I’ll be publishing a different post for each day. Let me know if you have any questions. 🙂

I just dug out my copy! I’m a bit behind, but I’ll be starting the book this afternoon. Hopefully, I’ll catch up pretty quickly.
Yay! So thrilled Anna! Would love to have you join!
I’m not sure I’ll have it read in time since I still haven’t had a chance to really start it. Work keeps getting in the way, so I might have to re-shelve it again for now. 🙁
What a huge collection of prizes but..how lovely are the writing kits!!!
I love these prizes! I so want them all! LOL!
This is the kind of book that I find it hard to put down, “sneaking” reads at every opportune moment. I love the way the author threads the “inspirations” for so many wonderful moments in Jane’s stories into the “diary.” On the other hand, I do have somewhat mixed feelings about it … if indeed these events had actually occurred as the diary documents, then it is lessening the honour of Jane’s triumph very sadly. It turns her into more of a chronicler of actual people, places, and things merely being somewhat altered to become her stories rather than being the brilliantly imaginative story-teller that we all love so much. One does not know what to think … except that, either way, Syrie James has created a masterwork. Many thanks, Meredith, for hosting this event and for offering this vast and lovely giveaway!
