MY STATS FOR THIS MONTH

Out of these 36 books, I haven’t read any yet…but I have Prejudice and Pride, Sway, and Villa Fortuna on by soon-To-Be-Read list and I’m super excited about all three!

Some of the other books that focus on a minor character look interesting as well… 😉

Have you read any of these books?  Which ones do you want to read?

  1. I have read 5 and that seems so inadequate in face of the host listed above. Once again, thank for you bringing to our attention all these new books. Just so impossible to keep up. Happy New Year to all.

    1. 5 is awesome and in my opinion very adequate for December when there is so much going on, Sheila! Good for you! 🙂 There is a lot of variety and I think it is good that we will never run out of books to read! 😉

  2. OK, Christina, I had to go to Amazon to read the story description as any book you are reading must be good – it’s a modern take-off of Persuasion. I particularly liked the “warning” at the end of the story description. I’ll add that to my pile.

    1. 🙂 Good decision, Sheila! If you didn’t already know, the author of Sway was also the author of the Becoming Fanny in the Then Comes Winter anthology. Since I loved that story, I’m even more excited to read Sway!

      1. Yes, when I went on Amazon to see about ordering the book that was noted under the author. I am reading up on P&P and Zombies (the prequel at present) due to the movie coming out. Zombies are not my usual taste but I do like to compare movies and books.

        1. You are good to do that! I don’t know if it’s my cup of tea so I’ve never read any of them. But I do plan to watch the movie. I did the same with Death Comes to Pemberley (didn’t read but watched)

  3. I have only two of these on my Kindle and one I have read ‘Cassandra’ which I enjoyed. I have a couple of others on my wishlist. Thank you so much for continuing to put this list together. I just added ‘Sway’ as the reviews were really good and it’s always nice to mix it up between Regency and Modern. I am looking forward to reading ‘Villa Fortuna’ early in the new year!
    Happy New Year!

    1. Thank you for checking out the post, Carole! I’m so glad you find it helpful! I will definitely keep making these posts as long as others are enjoying them! 😉 I’m super excited about Sway and Villa Fortuna! Wishing you a happy start to 2016!

  4. I haven’t read any of them but there are a few that catch my attention : “Dearest, loveliest Elizabeth” by P.O Dixon, “Cassandra ” and “Villa Fortuna”. And I like very much the covers of “A Pemberly Christmas “, “Elizabeth Mistress of Pemberly ” and “Mistress Mary and the General”.
I wish you a happy New Year 2016 in your new home, a year full of health, Joy, work, and lots of interesting readings! ! 🙂
    Feliz Año 2016!

    1. Great choices, Teresa! Cassandra and Mistress Mary and the General caught my eye too. 😉 Thank you my sweet friend for all your kind words and conversation this year! I wish you lots of happiness, joy, and good reads for 2016!!

  5. I’ve read Sway and Prejudice & Pride. Sway was definitely a hit. I’ve got Villa Fortuna and Less Proud and More Persuasive for soonish reads. I see a few more that need to go on the wish list.

    Happy New Year, Meredith!

    1. Great choices, Sophia! I’m looking forward to comparing notes with you on them when I finish! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts! Wishing you a very Happy New Year!

    1. So glad you like them! The book covers if you click them should take you to each books amazon page. That was a suggestion someone made to me and I thought it was a great idea!

  6. FYI – “Lady Catherine’s Christmas” is another plagiarized ripoff. If you will recall, ‘Amanda Foley’ has done this before.

  7. Colonel Brandon’s Secret is the first one to jump out at me. I’ll definitely be buying that one. As usual thanks Meredith for all the trouble you go to compiling these lists. I’d never hear about half of them otherwise.
