June is shaping up to be such a great and exciting month!
School’s out. Summer’s here. And there is a lot going on in my neck of the woods!
Summer is my favorite season! I love being outside (even in the humidity!), having some special seasonal summer food like corn-on-the-cob and watermelon, and visiting the beach!
If you dropped by this blog for a visit earlier this week, than you know that one of the big events going on this month is our first ever GROUP READ! Angie, Jakki, are looking planning to read Abigail Reynolds’ new novel, Mr. Darcy’s Noble Connection together. I can’t wait for all the discussions and chats we will be having!

Speaking of reading, here is what’s on this month’s
Austenesque Agenda:
~ TO REVIEW ~
~ TO READ AND REVIEW ~
~ TO READ (if time) ~
I know I want to read both these books this summer, not sure which one I will read this month if I have time.
~ FEATURED AUTHORS VISITING THIS MONTH ~
Tess Quinn – June 12th
Kara Louise – June 19th
What are you reading this month?
Anything exciting happening in your neck of the woods?
I love what you have on the agenda. I’m hoping to do the group read, but also hoping to satisfy my curiosity and read Death at Pemberley.
Thank you, it is a a very exciting month! I’m curious to hear what you think about Death at Pemberley – do let us know when you post your review!
The group read sounds fun! I downloaded Darcy’s Noble Connections last night and have twenty pages left – a bit of a Reynolds fan here! Haven’t read any others on your June agenda, looking forward to your reviews and possibly making my TBR even longer!
LOL! That was fast!
I hope there will be at least one you will want to add to your TBR!
Hi Meredith! Your June agenda sounds exciting (the beach photo is so beautiful and peaceful!) and I wish I had time to join the read group but I’ve been so busy lately!. I’ve seen you have a Jude Morgan book in your list and I read one of this author some years ago: “Indiscretion” a delightful and witty story with the austenesque taste that we all love so I feel the one you has chosen will be a good read. Enjoy this sweet June!:)
Teresa.
Hello Teresa! I’m very excited…can’t you tell? 🙂 It is a busy time of year…I know a lot of people have vacation conflicts and what not with the group read. Maybe you can take part in our next event!
I’ve never read anything by Jude Morgan, so I’m curious to see if I’ll like it! I got this one because it has to do with the Brontes. I’ll have to look for Indiscretion if this one ends of being wonderful! I hope you have a lovely June!
I’ve just downloaded “Mr. Darcy’s Noble Connections” to my Kobo! Looking forward to the group read and discussion.
YAY! So happy to hear you are taking part, Elaine!
Just ordered Mr. Darcy’s noble connections, and the estimated delivery date is June 14 (they already had it in stock in the German Amazon, ha!), so that means I can join the group read! In the meantime I think I’m going to read Cassandra Grafton’s trilogy and at the moment I’m reading Second glances by Alexa Adams. It’s nice so far, I always love it if authors make Kitty a bit more sensible and less silly!
Sοmebodу nеcessarily aѕsist to mаke significantly articles Ι’d state. This is the very first time I frequented your website page and up to now? I surprised with the research you made to make this actual publish incredible. Magnificent activity!
