Today’s post is dedicated to all the Downton Abbey fans out there who can never get enough Downton Abbey and who are presently lamenting the end of this year’s season.
Does a weekend with no Downton Abbey look a little bleak to you?
If so, maybe this parody series featuring Jimmy Fallon and friends might give you the fix you need. As a big Jimmy Fallon fan, I found these episodes to be very entertaining, especially with all his celebrity guest stars! I hope you will too! (If you haven’t already seen them!)
As the current resident of Studio 6B, Jimmy Fallon is the Earl of Downton Sixbey, with all the intrigue of the PBS series re-imagined as the inner workings of a late night talk show.

While entertaining an international guest the Earl of Downton Sixbey receives some startling news.

The new heir and his mother arrive at Downton Sixbey, but their stay might be a very short one.

The Earl has some unfortunate news to break to his family and the rightful heir returns to Downton Sixbey.
~ Episode 4 ~
A servant at Downton Sixbey hides a dark secret. One of the Earl’s daughters is about to marry the heir to Downton Sixbey.
I hope they continue this parody next year! I loved the Dowager Countess – he was spot on! And I thought the Lady Hedith jokes were hilarious! Well done, Brooke Shields – she looked and talked just like Elizabeth McGovern!
Guess what I’m going to be doing all weekend. Loved his Jersey Floor skits. These should be great!

I just laughed and laughed and trying to be quiet while my family sleeps. The best parts were Bates and the middle daughter. I only got through Episode 1 but will be watching the rest later!
