Thank you! I love Travelling Tuesdays.
Setting off…
I love Alexa Adams tour of her ‘hood with her daughter – much more interesting neighborhood than mine!!
I just took Jennifer Becton’s quiz and got Kitty Bennet. That sounds about right as I tend to be a follower and not a leader! Fun times!
Is Jack Caldwell’s link gonna be up later? Thanks for the other links–yay!
I took Jennifer Becton’s quiz and got Charlotte Lucas/Collins. I’m not too sure! But I am practical like her.
I tried to comment at Sylvia Chan’s, but it wasn’t accepted, so this is for her. What a lovely site! Thank you for categorizing the various JA books and giving great examples. I’ve read some of them but certainly not all. My to-read list is growing.
Fun…I love Traveling Tuesday!!=)
Wonderful tour! Can’t believe we are almost at the end!
As always, a great tour. There was so much to look at. I was literally holding my head for a minute trying to take in all the Austen awesomeness. I love it.
Oh, my! Barbara’s short story was too funny!
I wasn’t able to post a comment on Barbara’s blog but her story is hilarious! Just what I needed after a stressful day at work. Thank you Barbara
Another wonderful traveling Tuesday!
I just bought Pemberly Ranch at Borders at their closeout sale. Can’t wait to read it!
Too bad the link to Jack’s blog isn’t working. He’s quite a character; his posts on AustenAuthors always make me laugh and Pemberley Ranch is a great book. Southern rancher Darcy…mmm…lol
So much fun. I am anxiously awaiting Jennifer Bectons Caroline Bingley book. I took her quiz and I got Charlotte Lucas, which I don’t think is very far off. =D I am a BIT more romantic than she is though…LOL
Away I go!
I already read Alexa and Jennifer. I enjoyed Jack’s book tremendously. More than i thought I would and I’m not sure why that is. Sylvia’s site was very nice. I loved the definitions and examples she gave. I also couldn’t leave a comment on it. I took Jennifer’s quiz and ended up a Kitty. It could have been much worse I’m sure. Alexa and the baby aw how sweet. I loved that tour of the neighborhood. I don’t overly care for sexy books so I couldn’t complete reading the other short story. Just too much for me. smiles. I loved the journey. Thanks Meredith. The month has gone well I hope for you. Tho’ long I’m sure. suzan
Jan Hahn, it’s me Sylvia. Is there an error message when you comment on my post? I didn’t know about it. All comments on my posts are moderated. Anyway, thanks for the comment.
Except for Jack Caldwell’s post and mine, I’ve been to all the others. I enjoy Barbara’s short story but didn’t think I’m a Chorlotte Collins at Jennifer’s blog. I wish I could take a walk around my neighbourhood and visit JA characters everyday but I can do so with Alexa and her daughter.
I wish Jack Caldwell’s post was up. I he is quite entertaining! Again, it was another great Traveling Tuesday! Thanks, Meredith!
a bit winded from my walk with alexa this morning! but we’re waiting on tea & have just put our feet up ~ should be revived momentarily… “”)
i actually hold JA in esteem with highest regard, so found Barbara’s post an affront to JA
FuN with Jennifer and her secondary characters “)
more fun taking the quiz a second time with Sylvia!
sorry there wasn’t a posting from Jack!
did try checking his own site, but nothing avlbl
Sylvia, I couldn’t post on your site because it wouldn’t accept my Google account. I tried three times and then even made a new account, but it still wouldn’t go through. The same thing happened at this site, so I used Name/URL, but I didn’t see that option on your site. I am somewhat techno-challenged; thus, it may be something I’m doing wrong.
Enjoyed visiting all the sites…
Laughed at Mr Caldwell and his dog analogy
I am Kitty Bennet in the quiz…not a bad likeness.

Charlotte Lucas here…. that was fun! Looks like a few of us are Charlotte in our alternate universe!
These were great sites to visit! I will be sad when August ends, as this has been a most pleasant diversion of our ordinary, daily existence!
Thanks again, Meredith, for putting all of this together!
Jan Hahn: I see. I remember I have that problem last time on Internet Explorer but I have not encounter this problem in Firefox. If that’s the case, I’ll change the settings so that anyone can comment on using Name/URL like you did on this site. Thank you for alerting me about your problem.
I visited Jack Caldwell’s post a few days back. I have never kept a pet before so am not familiar with dog’s breed. Nevertheless, I enjoyed his hilarious post. This wraps up my virtual travels.
I loved Jack Caldwell’s post. I totally agree with his choices.
Thank you so much for sharing all of the great posts! There is something for everyone.
I took the minor characters quiz and turned out to Mary Bennet…oh well, back to my practicing!
but really, Meredith, I’m so impressed at your ability to pull all these key Austensque persons together for the month! THANKS!!!
