Our Twitter Party tête-à-tête will be approximately ONE hour in length. We hope to see many of you there. This is an open party and everyone is invited! By the way, if you want to find me on Twitter my handle is @austenesque. If you’d like, you can share your handle in the comment section below so others can follow your tweets!
*The fantastic graphics you are seeing for Austenesque Extravaganza were created by the wonderfully talented Lady Turner! Thank you, Lady Turner!

I just created an account. I don’t know how to use twitter but hopefully I’ll have it all figured out on time.
Can’t wait ’til 4pm! It was so much fun last week! 🙂
I am all ready for the chat!
counting down “))
I hope I can make it this time!!
I am new to this Sociable Sunday! I will be there.
@TiDubb
New to social Sunday, Getting excited now though,
@newberry03
That was fun! I’m still trying to improve my Twitter skills, I feel like Im too slow, and my phone does not automatically update the chat Lol Anyone have any tips?
Meredith, it was another blast! thank you so much for sharing your hospitality with us! absolutely FuN! deliteful authors and attendees + lots of insider news on upcoming publishing and projects on the go. excellent twitter partying “)) TY!!
Happy Twittering 🙂
ok for tips that work for me – first thing i do is click follow on all the authors participating, then into #austenesque which gives me running tweets that aren’t too many to follow, that i can click reply w/o beginning a new comment – quicker that way – also have #austenesque copied so you can right click it into your tweet at the end of your ‘reply’.
hoping that’s clear/understandable ?
participating makes it easier ea time! and just take time to enjoy reading your fellow party-ers thoughts “))
That was a great chat. I loved meeting some writers and Janeites I haven’t connected with before, and I hope some of the ones who were new to Twitter will stick around after the Extravaganza.
check @_eHope’s twitter account for participation in today’s sociable – sorry if you didn’t catch any commenting but i did have a great time w/ twitterers who did “)) many thx!
Thanks, Cherrytea! I will try it that way next week 🙂
Faith Hope Cherrytea, thanks for the tips. I am new to twitter (as of last Sunday). I will try your tips for the next Sociable Sunday if I can figure out exactly what you described! 🙂
you’re welcome to email me, Jakki, if it might reassure you – contact is on blog
How perfectly delightful! It was great to “meet” everyone! (And I found TweetChat very helpful…!) Thanks, Meredith!

Suzan
Meredith, would you care to post the extracts of the twitter conversation after it is over? This is for the benefit for those who don’t tweet or can’t make it (like me).
Shame I couldn’t make this would, would have loved to.
What Luthien84 said. I’m not a twitterer, but it would be interesting to know what’s talked about. Maybe like a summary, best comments, etc…
I may have to break down and get twitter.
Aw man, I missed it. 🙁 This is what one gets for taking a vacation during the Austenesque Extravaganza!!
