Austenesque Agenda – December 2024

Hi friends! I can’t believe we are getting close to the close of 2024!!

These last few months of the year just accelerate so quickly!

For me, November is birthday month!! 🎂 For everyone except me – both parents, my brother, and Fezzik. So there was a lot of celebrating.
Fezzik was spoiled with a gorgeous beach day for his birthday! 🥳

We also had family visiting for a few days. 🫶🏼
Fezzik and I enjoyed some dog sitting.
3 dogs is the perfect way to warm your body, just in case you were wondering. 🐶
And we got to experience one of our favorite candlelight tours about a battle during the American Revolution. 🕯️
How about you? What did you do in November?

I feel off my tradition of starting the new year with reading a Jane Austen annotated edition. I hope I can get back on this year. I have 4 to go!

  1. My November wasn’t so exciting I’m afraid. I had an eye test, it would have been my Dad’s 102nd birthday if he’d still been with us, then my eldest brother is very ill so we are worried about him. The only good news is that my Mum’s Care Home is staying open after we’d been told it could close.
I’m looking forward to your December posts, thank you.

  2. The dogs look like fun companions and great warmers. Looks like a good lineup of reading.

    Have a good December, Meredith!

  3. Hi Meredith,
“Your” November is “my” September LOL, I understand you very well
Celebrating birthdays in the beach…in November WOW
Time flies everywhere: we are in the Season to be jolly although I don’t believe we are, really, at the end of 2024.
You have a lot of interesting suggestions in your December agenda and it’s a fun way to start this special time
    A big hug, amiga mía
