Austenesque Agenda – July 2024

Happy July, friends!

What? I can’t believe I’m saying that!

How was your June? Any summer fun come your way?

Aside from reading and working, I tried to fit in some summer fun whenever I could. 😎🏝️🍦🍹🌅

Which included a weekend trip with my mom to Chapel Hill & Cary NC 🛣️⛲️🌸🍹

we each brought a book to read! 📖

And on weekends when I was home, I tried to go on lots of outings with Fezzik – either to the beach or downtown. 🌊🌅🐾

What kind of summer fun did you have so far?

  1. Sounds like a good start to your summer.

Look forward to seeing what you think of your review books.

    Have a great July, Meredith!

  2. It looks like you had a wonderful trip! And Fezzik is adorable! I live on the west coast and in June went to Astoria, OR for a few days and spent a couple days coming home by way of Ocean Shores and the Olympic Peninsula. Ah summer!

  3. Busy summer reading! Impressive! I have read a few, but I now see some others I want to give a try. Thanks for sharing!

  4. When it is hot and humid, I head for the coolest part of the house and read JAFF. What could be better? Oh, yeah, iced sweet tea with lemon. Hey, to our northern friends, don’t judge. It’s a southern thing.

Meredith, I love your pictures, especially of Fezzik. He is such a photo hound… oh, wait… he is a hound. And a sophisticated one at that. He always looks composed in his shots. LOL!

It was good for you to spend time with your mother. They leave us all too soon and the memories of being together are ever so precious. I miss mine. Blessings, my dear. I look forward to the reviews and interviews. Blessings.

  5. Now that I’ve recently discovered your blog, my summer has consisted of pouring over your lists and adding waaaay too many new books to the TBR stack! (But THANK YOU! Your blog is amazingly and I’m addicted!)

  6. While mean while in the southern hemisphere we are not experiencing summer at all. However snuggling with a good book is the best way to spend a cold day.
Look forward to you reviews this month thank you as always.

  7. Hi Meredith!
What a fun thing to enjoy some days with your mother!
Anf Fezzik is so cute in the pics, I think he loves the camera like a model 🙂
I’m curious about your opinion of “The making of Margaret Dashwood”.
Happy July, my friend, and to all the readers 🙂
