Some magical reads brewing this month!!!
🏖️ I’ve read 1️⃣ book from this list –
🏖️ I am excited to have in my TBR list.
🏖️ And I’m thinking of adding some of these new modern adaptations to my ever-growing wishlist!
I have read a few and see several I haven’t heard of before. Going to check them out.
Thank you for another month of compilations.
I have read 12 of these books (I’m retired so have the leisure to indulge). I won’t list so many, but will mention my very favorites. Number one: I Never Knew Myself audio version. Harry Frost and Stevie Zimmerman are fantastic! I couldn’t stop listening. The Scarred Duchess..purely amazing! Darcy and Elizabeth’s Dreams of Redemption was the lightest suggestion of the paranormal and perfectly romantic . Bennet’s Blended was charming. I could go on and on. I am currently reading Darcy’s Struggle and it’s wonderful so far. I have already downloaded three more (after reading your blog) and have added four more on my TBR list. What a treasure trove of riches so far this year!
I have read several of these and added three more to my list. My only complaint and it is not to you but to authors of JA fanfic, is that 95% of JA fanfic is based on Pride and Prejudice. I love P and P as much as the next Janeite, but there is so little fanfic based on Emma, Mansfield Park, and Northanger Abbey, and just a little more than a smidge based on Persuasion and Sensibility. PBS probably won the contest for Sanditon Fanfic, but since it was incomplete, it is nothing but an opportunity for fanfic. Too bad the Parkers and Sanditon fan fic has been so disappointing. My favorite JA fan fic is intersectional, allowing characters from all six novels to engage with each other.
Always a fabulous stack of new ones each month. Thanks for sharing them.
I’ve only read one and have another on the TBR stack.
Sadly I’ve only read three on your new list, but I’m thrilled to see how many new books are coming our way. Thanks so much for all of your efforts.
so many pretties.
I think I have only read two of these stories. Thanks for complying this list, Meredith.
I think I’ve only read 1 but I do have a number on my list, especially after checking them out. Thanks yet again Meredith.
Hi Meredith,
I’m curious about Leah Page’s magic novel and Claudia Gray’s.
