  1. I always love your lists. I have read only four of these. So many look good just from the titles. Thank you for all your efforts to keep us well informed.

  2. I admit I haven’t read any of these (except for the posted versions of the Leenie Brown books.
I already had a number on my list and have now added a few more so hopefully I will get around to reading them soon.
Thanks yet again Meredith for sharing your lists!

  3. Oh, thank you, Meredith. I was reading a series and didn’t know the newest book was out. However, you have filled my wish-list to overflowing… Thanks-A-Lot. No… really, thanks a lot. What would we do without you and your monthly list? Blessings my dear… excuse me while I go and read my latest.

  4. Thank you for your fabulous list, Meredith!
I have only read one but I have mostly reread some old favourites this month.
I do believe one is missing though: Choice and Consequences by Christine Combe was released on the fifth.

    1. Thanks so much – it was actually on my list for April – I guess one of the editions came out then and the other in May.

I appreciate you checking! I would have been sad to have missed it!

  5. Like Sheila, I always love reading these lists – maybe it’s because it’s such a reflective day, but it struck me today how many “newer” authors are on the list. I’ve been reading JAFF for many years, and it’s great to see so many old favorites on the list, but also a surge of new contributors – this is a thriving community! So many thanks to our Meredith for keeping us informed and pumped up!

    1. Very true. I was thinking the same thing. It is great to see these new contributors and see how many books they are adding the genre.

      I’m very happy to share!

  6. Oh where did May go? Well, I am more than ever grateful for your list Meredith. I have only HEARD OF 10 of the books above. Ten! I’m reading Jan Ashton’s now. And if you count rereleases I’ve read one more plus Leenie Brown’s compilation. So many new-to-me authors. I guess I can only hope they will come out in paperback so you can review them for us.

Happy June and the beginning of summer, Meredith. I know it’s your favorite time of year. 😀

    1. I am very happy to help spotlight the stories you haven’t heard of, my friend! And I look forward to comparing notes with you about Some Natural Importance!!

Hope you are enjoying a beautiful start to summer!

  7. Quite the list. I’ve read one and have another on my TBR. Guess I’ll never be in a JAFF shortage. 🙂

  8. I just finished and highly enjoyed Where The Rhythm Takes You by Sarah Dass(it appears to have come out May 11th). YA Modern Persuasion in Tobago.

    1. Thank you, Kirk! I will add it – non-P&P books are easy for me to miss. I’m interested in checking this one out – especially after hearing you enjoyed it!

  9. As Jean said above, it’s fascinating to see how many new authors there are, even in a month with a relatively “short” list! As for May, I’m still pretending the month has not ended… 🙂 Happy June to you, Meredith!

  10. I’ve read twelve full books, three samples I didn’t finish, and several old favorites this month. Retirement is lovely!

  11. Thanks for your lists. I am pumped to see that Mary Sherwood has finally published volume 3 of one of my favorite stories – A Marriage Worth The Earning. Yea!!!! I am also looking forward to reading Cassandra Leigh’s new book Pride and Distance in one sitting as well as many others.

    1. Hi Brenda! I am excited for Mary too! It is wonderful that she has volume 3 out! So happy to hear you have some books that have caught your eye! Thanks for sharing!
