There are 6️⃣8️⃣ new Austenesque releases for the month of November!
Quite a terrific variety this month!!!
🍁 I haven’t read any of these new releases (not counting the audiobook releases)
🍁 I am excited to have Plots, Ploys, and the Art of Matchmaking: A Humorous Pride and Prejudice variation by Sarah Courtney, Port and Proposals (Mr Bennet’s Memoirs) by Mark Brownlow, and NorthFanger: A Gothic Austen Mash-up by Jayne Bamber in my TBR pile! 😍
🍁 I wishI could read so many more! But I am not sure where to start!
Thanks for all your lovely lists and the hard work you put into compiling them. (I am getting 2 notices about your blogs. Is there any way of eliminating the one?)
Lol! It has been a week for lists, hasn’t it?!
Sorry to hear that, are they coming at the same time? I have multiple ways to subscribe…maybe you have subscribed twice and can unsubscribe with one of them?
so many books, so little time…
denise
This is so true! ⤴️
Thank you so much Meredith, another great list!
So far I’ve read Fitzwilliam Darcy’s Wager, Mr Darcy’s Secret Baby, Of A Sunday Evening and Queen of Winter. I’ve just started Sons of Pemberley and I have Unexpected Gifts lined up for next.
Some others are on my wish list and I will check out the rest.
(I don’t have audiobooks so don’t count those!)
So many great books, and so many I want to reread!
Way to go, Glynis!! Those all look like such terrific reads! I hope you enjoy all your reads and rereads this month, my friend!
My wish list is growing and my book pile and Kindle are taller than me! I am hoping after the holidays, I will have more time to read! There are many on this list that I want to read, Northfanger Abbey for one, Sons of Pemberley, Rosings (which I have already), Resolutions, Mr. Darcy’s Wager, and several others! Thank you for another great list and I completely agree, where did November go!! I have Christmas cards and letter to write, tree to put up and all the decorating, along with the wrapping of presents, cooking of food to freeze, baking, and a few more gifts to buy!!! I think December will fly by just as quickly! Have a Merry!
LOL! Carole! I feel the same way! And I am hoping for the same thing! It is such a busy time of year!
Those are all excellent choices! I am looking forward to many of them as well! I hope you get in a little bit of reading with all your holiday preparations!!
Thank you Meredith for this great list. So many! My list just keeps growing !
It is a great list, isn’t it? Authors are truly outdoing themselves! What a great time to be a JAFF/Austenesque reader!
The story in “Darcy Saves the Day” by Marianne Lyons was available a year ago as “Darcy’s Second Chance” by Catherine Jennings. I read the original story on a forum (probably ff.net) but unfortunately, I can’t remember who it’s by, and I can’t find it in my files anywhere.
Ah, so you mean that it was re-released with a different author’s name? I’m not always good at catching those sorts of things unless i see it in the reviews or book description.
Read the delightful Never Doubt I Love
When I saw that book, Vesper, I thought of you! So glad you found it delightful!
I was thinking this list was on its way really soon, way last week, and then I missed it and got behind. I counted six ‘must-reads’ from the list above…that’s not counting the short reads or audios, of which I already own some or/and I know I will enjoy some of those too. I am so overwhelmed with the books that have been recently on sale, and the number of great releases that have appeared in the past several months. That number-6-didn’t include the ones I also want to read some day. ‘Some day,’ boy I hate saying that but it’s reality. Sniff
Anyway Meredith, thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing us these lists each month. What a gift you are. <3
We are all about lists at the moment here!
Yes! It has been a great time to find books on sale and stock your virtual shelves! Glad to hear you see so many books you are interested in on this month’s list! I feel the same way!
Lovely comments like yours make me so happy to do it!
Hi Meredith!
I find your suggestions of Sarah Courtney and Mark Brownlow’s novels very interesting 😉
As for “Northfanger”, I’m really curious about it but stories involving vampires scare me a little, LOL so I’ll expect for your opinion before daring to put my hands on it!
Someone in the blog told that “Never doubt I love” was a good recommendation, so I’ll keep it in mind.
And, finally, I love the cover of “Bronwyn”, I don’t know if it’s worth reading but it looks so magic!
Thanks for compiling this list! 🙂
Yes! I’ve read stories by those authors before and am excited to read their new releases – they all add some unique twists to these characters!
We will have to keep our eyes on those magic series book – they do look lovely and I like that there is one for each Jane Austen novel!
