There are 4️⃣4️⃣new Austenesque releases for the month of March!

Lots to keep readers busy with during this strange time!*

*I can’t help but notice this number is a  little smaller than other months, 🤔not sure if this is due to COVID-19 or if Amazon isn’t showing all results in searches…let me know if you catch anything I missed!

☘️ Okay, not counting rereleases or other formats I have read 1️⃣from this list – The Other Bennet Sister: A Novel. ⭐️

☘️ And I have 5️⃣books on my TBR pile –

☘️ But I definitely plan on adding several others to my wishlist! 😍

  1. Oh Meredith, I am so happy to see this list and noticed Riana has a new book coming out tomorrow! Its sounds fantastic. I am going to pre-order now so it shows up for tomorrow! Leslie’s book, ‘Undoing’ is up for order, so off I go to order that one too! I have already read ‘I Never Knew Myself’ and ‘A Rogue’s Widow’ and both are excellent! I have Maria Grace’s ‘The Dragon of Kellynch’ on my Kindle and hope to read soon. There are a few others on the list that I want to read as well! Yes, I find I am reading a bit more than I expected but not complaining. I have a HUGE TBR pile! I remember reading Amy’s book online, but would love to own the book and re-read the story. Thank you!!

Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay sane!

    1. Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Carole!! It is exciting to see some the new releases from those authors! And how great that you are keeping up and have read some of them!

That is great to hear that you are reading more!

      Hope you are staying well!

  2. Thank you so much, Meredith! Your lists help me navigate through the many offerings of JAFF. I am certain I would miss so much without them. It’s always surprising to see the number of new books each month! This time I have already read three from your list. The Rogue’s Widow, The Most Interesting Man and Being Mrs.Darcy. All are different, excellent, and so very worth the read! I was especially excited to see The Mysteries of Pemberley available. I’m finishing up now and it has already taken it’s place among my favorites – absolutely riveting!

Thank you, take care and stay well! 🙂

    1. So happy to hear that this list is helpful to you, Deborah! What great choices you have read – I am glad to hear you found them all to be excellent! I’m excited to check out The Mysteries of Pemberley!

  3. Phew! Well I’ve read a few of these! I have the original of Jan Ashton A Searing Acquaintance and Amy D’Orazio The Mysteries of Pemberley. I’ve read Nicole Clarkston The Rogue’s Widow, Lory Lilian Mr Darcy’s Proper Behaviour, Leslie Diamond Undoing, Belén Paccagnella When Duty Calls. I read Rose Fairbanks Mr Darcy’s Grieving Wife while posting and I read Lucy Marin Being Mrs Darcy a couple of years ago before publication. All great books.
I have some others on my wish list and will check out the rest!
Thanks so much Meredith! Stay safe!

  4. Wow, once again you come through for us. Bless your heart. You work so hard. I hope you know we appreciate you so much. Hello to your Mr. Bingley and thank him for sharing you with us. Be safe, guys.

  5. Oh Meredith! This list is my cup of tea!. Thanks so much!.
I haven’t read any (as always LOL) but, thanks to you I’ve discovered the new María Grace dragon book!!! WOW, it sounds so good, “Persuation” with dragons! Bravo 🙂
And I see there’s a new book of Riana Everly (the cover is so elegant!) and other of Nicole Clarkston (gorgeous cover again!).

At these moments I have more time to read and, in fact, I’m reading “What Kitty did next” by Carrie Kablean and I’m enjoying a lot.
And maybe, if confination keeps us at home, I’ll reread “Emma” and, after, the trilogy of Highbury by Allie Cresswell 😉

I wish you all the very best and keep seeing the bright side of life …I think Lizzy would act this way.
Let’s imitate the best virtues of Jane Austen heroines: Lizzy’s sense of humuor, Elinor’s patience, Emma’s energy, Anne Elliot’s moral strenght, Fanny Price’s wisdom and Catherine Morland’s joy!.
Or, at least, let’s try 😉

    A big hug my friend!!!

    1. Hi Teresa! Thank you for the lovely comment! I am so glad to hear you are excited about Maria Grace’s new book!!

And I quite agree about the lovely covers!

I’m happy to hear that you are enjoying lots of reading time! And I’m super happy about you reading some books I enjoyed by Carrie Kablean and Allie Cresswell!! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

That is so beautifully put, my friend! What exceptional advice!

      Hugs to you!

  6. Meredith, thank you for compiling this list. Now that I’ve released my new book and have time off from work, it is good to know there are so many new books to read. The next two that I will read are Undoing and When Duty Calls.

  7. I’ve read one and a portion of another. I have two others on my wish list.

Thanks for the list, Meredith! And, I feel the same way about this sweet on-line community.

  8. Thank you so much for doing these lists. I always find something I’m interested to read. Have you ever charted how many books in each category are released each month? I’m wondering if there has been a steady increase over the years or if the number has reached a plateau with only minor monthly variations.

    1. I’m so glad to hear that you found some interesting reads on this list! I haven’t thought of keeping a stats list like that, but maybe I should! Great idea!

It would be interesting to see if there is any correlation between time of year and if the trends are like you said.

  9. Thank you, Meredith!
Love your lists, I always find some books that have escaped my radar.
I have read six and have a couple on my wishlist.
One is missing though: “No Secrets in Creedence” by Sarah Hall. A western S&S reimagination, published 29.03.2020

    1. So glad you enjoy the lists, Elin! And thank you for pointing out one I missed…it definitely slipped by me and the usually keywords I search on Amazon.

  10. I have long since quit keeping a TBR list as there are too many books being published to bother with one. I do however try to read books by my favorite authors and have already read Lis Batten’s stories in Leaving Longbourn, Nichole Clarkston’s The Rogue’s Widow, L L Diamond’s Undoing, Lori Lillian’s Mr. Darcy’s Proper Behaviour and several of those being published that were on fan fiction years ago. I do appreciate your lists as I would hate to miss one I might have overlooked in the crush. I will say that those I read are all great stories I wish I had written. 🙂

    1. That is very good plan. Brenda! And there are so many new books these authors! We are so thankful that you all keep writing more and more!

      That is a lovely compliment!

  11. This month went by really slowly, I’m seing some books here that seemed to have been released a long time ago!
Not counting with re-releases, I’ve read 2: The Rogue’s Widow and Mr. Darcy’s Clan.
But I really want to read The Bennet Affair, When Duty Calls, Being Mrs. Darcy and The Mysteries of Pemberley 🙂
Thank you for this list once more Meredith 🙂

  12. I felt that March flew by in a blink this time and when I saw this in my email, I thought ‘yes, but I’m not ready.’ Although like everyone else I’m ready for the times we are going through to be over. I really like what Teresa commented about our unique situation.

What a power house list this past month. I’ve read two from this list which for me is an accomplishment, read two others when they were posted online, and have six Must Reads from the list. Plenty of others look very enticing. Oh, I’ll never get every book I want to read read.

I’m excited for the audio books that have become available recently. And I’m so excited to be able to reread Amy D’Orazio’s Mysteries of Pemberley again from start to finish. I didn’t realize it had already been released.

I’m with everyone else when I say how much I appreciate the effort you put into these lists for us every month. I know I whinge about the end of the month coming up too quickly but really these lists are a big part of my Austenesque reading experience. Thank you so much again and again.

  13. Again: thank you for your lists and all the hard work you put into compiling them. I have only read 6 of these. Just impossible to even put all on my Wish List.
