Did you happen to see all the Austenesque books published this last month?  If not, have no fear!

Here’s a list of Austenesque Novel Finds for May 2019 for your perusing pleasure! 🗒

There are so many to choose from!  Which ones do you want to read?

🌸 I have read 0.

🌸 And I don’t have any of these books on my soon to be read list.

🌸 But I’m definitely planning on checking out some of them soon if I can, like Pride, Prejudice, and Other Flavors: A Novel and Nefarious: A Pride and Prejudice Variation.

If you have any recommendations, please do share them!

  1. I’ve read but two. However I am 16 books ahead of my Goodreads Book Challenge for the year.

  2. Thanks for compiling these lists each month! Given that I’ve read only 7 or 8 Austenesque books this year so far, I know it’s unlikely I’ll get to most, if any, on this list anytime soon. But it is fun to see what has come out recently. Congrats to all the authors, and hope you get a break soon, Meredith!

  3. I have long since given up on ‘keeping up’ with all the new JAFF stories. Now I just read the authors I know and love, and any books you review that catch my eye. 🙂 I have read most of Leenie Brown’s books, as well as the new one from Nicole Clarkston (Nefarious is wonderful!) and am halfway through L L Diamond’s modern “It’s Always Been You” and am enjoying it. Hope to catch up on some of the others. Thanks for the list!

  4. Oh, I saw a few I would like to read. Several were already on my wish list. Thanks for doing this list of the month for us Meredith. It is very much appreciated. [Say hello to your Mr. Bingley]

  5. I’ve read 1/2. Ha. I read part of Nefarious online when it was available and it is flip-your-lid-shocking-wonderful. The second half couldn’t possibly be anything but amazing. I added a handful to my wish list, some I’ll wait for more reviews before I decide. I kinda lust over that lovely illustrated letters book. Thanks for this list, Meredith. Looking forward to those loooonnng book reviews. 🙂

    1. That is more than I have read… Oooh…very nice description for Nefarious! Can’t wait to read it too!

The Illustrated Letters of Jane Austen does look quite lovely!!

  6. Yes, May was a doozy of a month. I only got one read and it was an older book. I’m definitely grabbing Nefarious and see a few others that tickle my fancy.

  7. I have read two and am reading a third. No hope of making a dent when so many are published. But thank you for your efforts to keep us abreast of what is being released.

  8. I’ve been missing in action too, Meredith. The Chinese Year of the Pig has been a bit of a pig of a year for us so far. Still, at least we have you to keep us up to date with what’s being published. Not read any of these, although Nefarious and It’s Always Been You are both on my Wish List. Many thanks for compiling all of your lists.
