Hi readers, I hope everyone had a wonderful February! It has been a strange month weather-wise here! Over the weekend we had temps in the mid-70s (24 degrees celsius)! Although we are known for mild winters in the south, this is unseasonably mild! And yet, I know from Facebook that the western and northern parts of our country had some snow around the same time. I believe I saw that England did too! Crazy weather, indeed! Did you happen to see all the Austenesque books published this last month? If not, have no fear!

Quite a list. All P&P I notice. Snowing here in Southern Ireland since last night. The country has closed down of course. We’re not used to it and we’re never ready for it when it does come. Very bad forecast for the next three days. So as I’m living out in the countryside I won’t be going anywhere. Great excuse to get some extra reading in.
Yes, indeed. How fun that it snowed! But I so know what you mean about everything shutting down. That happens where I live too! Definitely best to stay in and read!
I’ve read one. Amy D’Orazio’s A SHORT PERIOD OF EXQUISITE FELICITY. It was exquisite!

Just about to start on Stranger Prides , really want to read Pride and Prometheus by John Kessel (hoping for the hardcopy of that) and interested in reading Charlotte’s Tale.
After checking how many kindles and ePUBs I have left to read (mainly historical mysteries) – over 2500 which is about 4 years worth of reading – I have basically stopped buying any more books
Ooh! That one has caught my eye, too. 🙂 I understand about wanting to stop buying new books until you catch up on other reads. That is amazing that you could fit in so many reads in one year!
Wow! Well there are at least six that I want to check out. I have Amy’s book on order and I am thrilled to see that ‘The Marriage of Miss Jane Austen’ is now in a trilogy set! Pride and Prometheus sounds intriguing as does Charlotte’s Tale. Jann Rowland always has unique premises so will be looking into that one and I’m curious about Escaping Austen as I loved the movie and have the first book! Thank you for finding all of these!

Nothing tells me better that it’s the end of another month like your lists do. Argh…it cannot be that time again. So many authors I haven’t read yet, lots of interesting titles. I’m really looking forward to Amy’s book and will be looking into the those whose authors I am familiar with. But to be sure I’ll check into some new ones too. Here goes my crazy long wish list again.
Our weather here in the Midwest US is pretty typical. Some snow and ice, some normal cold, a little deeply frigid, and for the past couple of days a teasing warm up. Just enough of a warming trend to make it a jolt when the bitter stuff comes back, which it will. But quite fortunately, we don’t have to get out in it for the most part and can wait out the bad street conditions….for the most part. :/
You had a great month of reviews Meredith. I’m not quite caught up on those yet, though.
This wish list continues to grown forever, no matter how many books get taken off it! 😉 That’s nice that you had some warmer weather, hopefully spring will be here to stay soon!

I’ve only read Pride & Prometheus from the list and Amy D’Orazio’s book is the only one I added to my wish list. I’m still catching up on others, tool. 😉
Oh man, the weather just will not make up its mind. We had snow, then rain, then perfect sun, and now more storming. At least, I got to freshen our house with the windows open a few days. 🙂

I’ve managed to read only one of the short stories, but I am putting several of these on my kindle. As of now, once I quit writing I shall have 98,562 kindles to read in my retirement. 🙂
