What a great way to start 2018! There are 47 new Austenesque releases for the month of January!

There are so many to choose from!  Which ones do you want to read?

I have read 0 (I’m not counting Mercy’s Embrace: The Lady Must Decide because I hear it has a new epilogue which makes me feel it might be some other differences!) 😉  But I do plan on reading Brave Jane Austen soon.  And I definitely have some books I’m adding to my ever-growing wishlist, like The Sweetest Ruin!

If you have any recommendations, please do share them!

  1. How on earth I’m expected to work through my TBR list I know not! I’ve read two of these, Darcy’s Mistletoe Kiss was short and sweet and I loved The Sweetest Ruin.
I will check out some of the others although some are already on my wish list .
Thank you for keeping us updated Meredith.

    1. I’m so glad to hear you loved The Sweetest Ruin, that one looks like it is a lot of fun! I’m still playing catch up with 2017 reads, may be another month or 2 before I can begin 2018! LOL!

  2. I don´t have any recommendations as I haven´t read any of them but I´m curious about “Sherlock Holmes and Elizabeth Bennet” 😉
Thanks for the list, Meredith, it seems that 2018 keeps the tradition of growing more and more!

  3. Good lord, so many possibilities! I’m interested in Lisa Pliscou’s book (she spoke at a JASNA NorCal meeting a few years ago and I found her interesting) and Sherlock and Elizabeth ought to be entertaining, but I’m all agog over Emma Watson and Her Sisters! Anything related to The Watsons is related to me.

    1. How awesome that you got to see and hear Lisa Pliscou – her new book looks adorable! I can’t wait to read it! If you do read Emma Watson and Her Sisters, please do let us know how you like it!

  4. Like Abigail, the Emma Watson book sounds fascinating. I’ve heard of some of these books but not read any of them or even got as far as putting them on either my Wish List or TBR List, apart from The Sweetest Ruin. Can’t believe January’s nearly over, either and that so many books have already been published!

    1. I hope you had a good month, Anji! It actually felt a little slower paced than normal, I quite enjoyed it! There are so many new books and new authors to discover each month, it amazes me!

  5. Thank you so much for compiling this great list. I really like that you are helping JAFF readers a convenient location to keep track of all new releases. Thank you, thank you so much.

    1. Thank you for such lovely words, Sandra! Truthfully, I love to make lists! I’m very happy to share the lists with others though as the main reason I created this blog was to help other readers of JAFF and Austenesque . 🙂 Happy reading!

  6. *whistles appreciatively* Ho-ly Cow! LOL I see several that I want to read, but getting time… that’s trick. Add my name to Anji and Abigail for wanting the Watsons book, for sure. Maybe just a few can’t hurt. 😉

    1. LOL! It’s great to see so many are interested in The Watsons! Have you all read Ann Mychal’s book – Emma and Elizabeth! I loved that one. 🙂 Hope you enjoy a great month!

  7. Thanks for these lists. Always find something to add to my TBR pile. The Lizzy/Sherlock story caught my eye. The modern Emma is a must have too.

  8. Wow indeed! Can’t keep up but looking forward to reading some of them ‘The Countess Visits Longbourn’, Mercy’s Embrace, The Sweetest Ruin, and a couple of others. I did read and enjoyed ‘One Winter’s Eve. Thank you again for this list!!!

  9. Of the 47 books I read in January, only 4 was new releases. Trying to tackle my TBR pile…

Thank you for this fabulous list, my TBR list will probably get a couple of new additions .

  10. At least eleven, plus other P&P variations on Fanfic and a couple other sites. When I urge my favorite authors to keep writing, especially longer books, I’m serious. 🙂
