I haven’t read any from this list yet, but there are 8 of these lovely books on my TBR pile!  And I cannot wait to read them!!!  I just need to quite my daytime job so I can read full-time! After I read those 8 I know I’ll be wanting to get my hands on some others!

If you have any recommendations, please do share them!  With so many new authors coming onto the scene, it is always helpful to hear which ones my friends recommend!

  1. I have only read Lizzy Bennet Meets the Countess and President Darcy. I am still trying to read some of the books on Kindle that have just been sitting there – in other words: playing catch-up. Thanks for your lists. Makes me realize how far I am behind…smiling.

Are you informing us that Thanksgiving and Christmas are upon us????

  2. I’ve just purchased Jane Austen The Chawton Letters, edited by Kathryn Sutherland. It’s a small hardback book and I can’t wait to read it.

  3. 53? I’ll be lucky to read a fraction of them on top of my current TBR list of freebies and top recommendations from reviewers and friends! Although I’m sure all these authors take their writing seriously, how does one filter out those capitalizing on the popularity of JAFF with quick back-to-back releases and those who take care to share higher quality craft with the more discerning of readers? Of course, my reading priorities lean heavily on the opinions of reviewers like you, Meredith, and I don’t know how you manage it! Thanks so much for your support of readers and authors.

    1. I so need a couple months off work to be able to read all I want to! 😉 Wouldn’t that be nice! Like you I really appreciate recommendations, I am very rarely steered wrong. However, I am willing to give new authors a try, it’s great that readers have so much to choose from. Something for everyone!

  4. I have “Green Card” and hope to finish it this week. Looks like it was another big month for publishing Austenesque books!

  5. What a list,Meredith!

I don’t much about some of them but I would dearly love to read Elizabeth Adams’ Green Card,Don’s Lizzy meets the Countess and Victoria’s Pres. Darcy!
    So many books,so little time!
    Cheers for sharing!

  6. WOW!!! I’m like you; I haven’t read any on this list. I do have several on my wish-list and TBR pile. Man… where did the time go? It’s not like I wasn’t doing any reading. I looked over my GR read shelf and saw that I read nearly 20 books, novellas, unpublished stories and shorts, re-read several favorites… so I was busy. This list makes my mouth water. Man, I haven’t seen half of these. Where did they come from? So, my wish-list is growing as we speak. Thanks Meredith for sharing with us. When I’m snowed in this winter… I’ll be glad I have it.

    1. That’s amazing! You sure were busy, Jeanne! I’m very impressed! I want to do that! LOL! 🙂 Yes, there are some nice surprises on this list. Yes, you will have plenty to keep busy with. 😉

  7. I’ve got President Darcy on the reading pile, but cool, I had no idea Kara Louise had a new one out. And there are a couple of others that have hit the wish list.

    1. I would definitely list them if there were, I try not to leave anything out of my lists. It looks like this month didn’t have any though. Sorry! We definitely need some more Persuasion stories!

  8. Wow! There is no way I can keep up! I will say that I am fortunate to own “Mr. Darcy’s Guide to Pemberley” which is absolutely beautiful! I have also read “Lizzy Bennet Meets the Countess” as I love this amazing series! I am really looking forward to reading, ‘A Most Handsome Gentleman’, ‘Chance & Circumstance’, Christmas at Longbourn, Folly & Forgiveness, Green Card, President Darcy, With the Colonel’s Help, Teaching Eliza, and Extraordinary Devotion. There are a few others that I would like to check out as well! Whew…now to fit them all in!!!!
    Thank you again Meredith!!!

    1. Oh lucky you! I hope to get that one soon, it looks amazing!! I can only imagine what it looks like in person! Great choices!!! You can definitely keep busy with a list like that! I hope you enjoy a wonderful month full of reading!

  9. My goodness, is that a record for one month, so many! How can we separate the wheat from the chaff? A couple of these caught my eye that I wasn’t previously aware of, have added them to the list 🙂

  10. Oh my…. Most of these I hadn’t come across yet. A great mix of familiar and new names. I have Don Jacobson’s book and can’t wait to read that, except that I’m tempted to wait and reread the previous books first. The only one I’ve read thus far is Leenie’s book, With the Colonel’s Help, which is great. And that I read on her website as a weekly installment: Which I really hate doing. HA. I’m such a baby, I want to start and read straight through, which now I will be able to do again from the beginning. 🙂 Lots of yummy titles on this list. Thanks as always, Meredith.

  11. Christmas at Longbourn by Karen Aminadra is on my tablet and ready to read.
And I intend to buy – Extraordinary Devotion by Rose Fairbanks as it is about the Colonel. The rest have been added to my wish list but I am giving priority to non Darcy/Lizzy stories
