There are 68 new Austenesque releases for the month of March!
Leaping lizards! It looks like there is a boon of JAFF published in 2017 so far! So much so I had to modify these posts (sorry to not include Goodreads links anymore, but this post already takes a lot of hours to put together! And with this many books to keep track of I needed to make it a little easier on myself.)
There are so many to choose from! Which ones do you want to read?

I haven’t read any yet, but will be reading (and reviewing) Mistress: A Pride and Prejudice Variation, with Parts Not Suitable for Those Who Have Not Reached Their Majority by Sophie Turner next month and will be welcoming Sophie Turner and Linda Beutler, author of My Mr. Darcy & Your Mr. Bingley, for a visit next month too! 😉
As for the rest…I can’t even begin to say which others I’m interested in! So many to choose from!!!

I am left stunned at the number of books just published in March! There are not enough days in the month to read and keep up my writing so I shall depend on your reviews to discover which ones I need to invest my time in reading. 🙂 Of course, those writers who are already among my favs will get first dibs on my time.
Me too, Brenda! It is just time consuming listing them all, let alone reading synopsis and samples! LOL! It’s great to see some familiar authors in this group, though! Definitely looking forward to learning more about their stories!

This is a book that I highly recommend to all Austen fans,where they will see what a truly fantastic gent Darcy is and will anxiously wonder what will befall our beloved couple.
Haven’t read any of the other books but I’m definitely going to read the story penned by Regina Jeffers.
I love this author’s work and having read an excerpt from the first chapter on another site,I admit that I’m hooked!!!
If I’m not lucky enough to win a copy then I’ll treat myself to one. Money well spent,in my humble opinion!!

I have only the read one by Jennifer Joy so far but have 10 others on my wishlist. At least we will never run out of books to read at this rate! I will just have to be selective! Thank you again!!!

Wow, so many! I love these posts because I have given up on keeping track of all the new books coming out and only keeping a list of the ones I own and/or have read. I admit I’m a bit intrigued that so many have “A P&P Sensual Intimate” in the title but are all by different authors. Is it one person with multiple pseudonyms? I need to know! (Ok I don’t *need* to know but I want to.)
I loved Sophie Turner’s “Mistress”! I just finished Regina Jeffers’s A Dance with Mr Darcy and it was great, too. Good for a dose of heartburn at times. Lol Many other goodies on this list – wish I had more time.
Yay! Glad you enjoy these posts, my friend! There are quite a few “sensual intimates” on this list. Some covers do look similar in style, but have different authors…you might be onto something!
I’ve read eight of these and there are sixty more? It’s not going to happen for me as I suspect a whole new crop will be out in April. I’m unsurprised at how many are Darcy-centric. He sells. In light of Rita’s blog about covers, I studied all of the offerings closely and found the variety of colors and styles were intriguing. I do have some of these I have placed on my to-be-read pile. When I will get to them I haven’t a clue.

Goodness, so many. There seem to be some by the same authors which always makes me a bit wary, you wonder about the quality of them (no offence to any very fast authors intended!).
I understand your reservations, I think several of the books on this list are shorter works though. It is impressive to see how busy authors are!
Phew! I have read Mistress by Sophie Turner which I loved! I also have Regina’s Dance with Mr Darcy and Jennifer’s Indomitable Miss Elizabeth still to read. I started checking the others but not finished yet. As you mentioned some seem quite short in fact there were a couple with only 14 & 16 pages! I don’t know about other people but I wouldn’t buy anything that short in fact unless I know and like the author I wouldn’t buy anything less than 100 pages and usually prefer 200 +. So I will keep checking. Thanks for compiling these lists Meredith, (so many books, so little time

I understand your reservations about the shorter stories. If I read short stories, I prefer them to be in an anthology or collection, that way it is a bit more substantial. 🙂
Did anyone notice that there are close to 20 of these that are intimates? Is there a group out there churning those out, lol? I have also noticed that many of these stories are really pretty short, which is a bummer for me–I like either a tight short story or a full length novel. Most of the novellas (just my opinion) feel underdeveloped to me. Not that I’m sorry to have such a selection!

68 this month? How are we supposed to keep up? And can we say that this is too much Jaff? Or there isn’t such a thing as too much Jaff? It’s getting harder and harder to know what to read, there is so much choice that sometimes I think I loose more time choosing what to read than actually reading.

I think it might be impossible to keep up nowadays! LOL! I know what you mean about spending time choosing. I’m sometimes game to try a new author, myself, but the question is which one…so many new authors! I will say it looks like many of these books are only published in ebooks, so that does limit the options for me a little.

I have read a number but have now sworn off any book with “intimate and/or sensual” in the title. Some authors have the ability to write those scenes gently and lovingly but the two with those words that I did pick up were nothing but sex…graphic and even without any prelude or romancing. I have read: A Dance with Mr. Darcy, Affectionate Hearts, Chaos & Courtship, Courting Mr. Darcy, Darcy the Beast, Mistress, Mr. Darcy Dances, Mr. Darcy’s Bad Day, Mr. Darcy’s Discovery, My Mr. Darcy & Your Mr. Bingley, The Angel of Longbourn, The Indomitable Miss Elizabeth, and just started Mr. Darcy’s Second Chance. I also read Stolen Virtue but it is one of those types I have now sworn off. Sorry.
I don’t think I’ve read any, Sheila, so it is good for me to hear your impression of them. I don’t mind if the story gets steamy and romantic at times, but I think I prefer for that not to be the focus.

Wow! Can’t believe how the numbers are increasing so exponentially! I’d scrolled nearly to the bottom before I came across one I’d actually read – Jennifer Joy’s The Indomiatble Miss Elizabeth. I think there’s two on my TBR List and around another four or five I’ve heard of. The rest are total unkowns both in terms of titles and authors. Think I’ll steer clear of any that specify ‘intimate’ or ‘sensual’ as I’ve had some not so good experiences with that type. At least they’re up front about it more often nowadays.
I can’t imagine how long it takes to compile these lists Meredith, but I and many others are thankful that you do. Do you actually ever sleep?
