Happy 241st Birthday, Jane Austen + TRIPLE GIVEAWAY!!!

Birthday

Hello dear readers!  Time to celebrate the birthday of our beloved Jane Austen!!

What are you doing to celebrate?  Anything fun or special?  Please do share!

Remember last year when I made a Jane Austen Christmas Book Tree?

That was so much fun and I really wanted to do it again this year, but since we are leaving for Colombia in 5 days it just didn’t seem to fit in with all the craziness we’ve had going on. :/  Hopefully next year!!

But…

I am happy to say that I do have some lovely giveaways to share and celebrate Jane Austen’s special day with! 🙂  Come check them out below!

~ GIVEAWAY TIME ~

The lovely ladies from the Holidays with Jane series have their first anthology available on audiobook!  Woot!  And they have kindly donated a copy of it for me to give away today! 🙂 By commenting on this post 1 lucky winner can win an audiobook of Holidays with Jane: Christmas Cheer narrated by Tiffany Dougherty!

“Six talented authors make your Christmas lights twinkle with these modern-day adaptations of Jane Austen’s novels. Curl up with some peppermint tea and enjoy something special in your stocking this holiday season.”

In addition…

While doing a bit of closet-cleaning my mom recently found some C. E. Brock illustrations printed on fabric that she either ordered doubled of or the seller sent her double of for a gift she gave me 6 years ago!  Not sure which!

So it looks like we have some extras!  I thought I might be able to find some new homes for the prints… Maybe some Janeites I know might like to put them in frames like I did? 😉

The prints included are from Emma:

  • “I see very few pearls in the room except mine.” (Vol. III Chap. 2)
  • “I planned the match from that hour.” (Vol. I Chap. 1)
  • She left the sofa. (Vol. I Chap. 15)
  • Mr. Perry with a disengaged hour to spend with her father (Vol. III Chap. 13)

And as you see, I have doubles of the bottom illustrations (really not sure how that happened!) so I’ll be picking 2 winners for this prize!

And that’s not all…

In celebration of Monica Fairview’s new Regency Christmas Novella, A Merry Christmas Chase, I have 3 ebook copies to give away to 3 lucky readers!
