36 new Austenesque releases for the month of September! Woo!!
There are so many to choose from! Which ones do you want to read?
Which of these books have you read?
I haven’t read any yet, but will be reading (and reviewing) 2 of them soon – Georgiana Darcy, Matchmaker and The Many Lives of Fitzwilliam Darcy. But I’d definitely like to check out so many others on this list!

Thank you so much Meredith. Some beautiful front covers.
My pleasure, Michelle! I agree the covers are intriguing and lovely!
Again – just too much!!! I don’t even want to think about which one(s) to order even having read a few already. Thanks again for all your hard work compiling this list for us.
This was a very active month! Feel free to share any recommendations of books you enjoyed! 🙂
What an impressive list of new releases! Happy reading.
Same to you, my friend!!
Thank you for compiling this list. So many titles I had never heard of, and a few I have read of am reading at the moment (A peculiar engagement and Convincing Mr Darcy). I am very intrigued by Mr Knightley’s secret and Miss Eleanor Tilney…. Aahhhhhh … Ohhh and Mr Darcy’s regret… Now I need a few rainy week-ends to indulge in reading fanfiction on the sofa…..
Hi Nathalie! I see you like a lot of the non-Pride and Prejudice books! I’m intrigued by those too! I hope you enjoy your current reads and any new ones you pick up! 🙂 It would be great to stay home all day and read!!
Wow! I just put a bunch of these on my wish list.
Awesome! 🙂 I’m glad you found the list helpful!
I finished Mount Hope early this morning. I enjoyed it! I agree with Sophia Rose’s review of it on Goodreads.
I working on “The Jane Austen Writer’s Club” by Rebecca Smith…around pg 80. Not overly thrilled with it so far. Happy reading!!!!! -Kirk
Oh that’s great, Kirk! I feel like MP is my most neglected Austenesque book. I really do want to read more stories that are inspired by it. I’ll have to check out yours and Sophia’s reviews. 🙂
Thanks!
So many books, so little time! I have just enjoyed reading Georgians Darcy Matchmaker and I have Mr Darcy’s Present which I am really looking forward to. I also want to read The Many Lives of Fitzwilliam Darcy, Waking to Mr Darcy and Courting Elizabeth. Then I will have to check out the rest of them (and hope for a lottery win!). Thanks for keeping us up to date Meredith and happy reading. I loved your photo of Lory’s wonderful books. I have them all as paperbacks as well as 4 e-books as I just love the covers. Speaking of which I noticed that the cover on Mr Knightley’s Secret is the same as Sharon Lathans The Passions of Dr Darcy.
Hi Glynis! That’s great that you enjoyed Georgiana Darcy Matchmaker! 🙂 I so wish reading could be my full-time profession! How great it would be to read them all!
When I finished The Rainbow Promise I just thought it would be fun to take that picture of Lory’s books. 😉 They look so lovely together! Yes, both covers have the same painting? I’ve seen that happen before. Good observation!
You’re right! How many books! I’m glad to disco ver a Kara Louise new novel and “Georgiana Darcy matchmaker ” caught my eye so I’m happy you get this one in your reading list 🙂
Yes! Kara was very sneaky, I didn’t know she was about to release a new book! 😉 Happy reading to you, Teresa!
Mount Hope is a definite for me. Just trying to find time! I’m also interested in The Jane Austen Writers Club. Half the Sum of Attraction and Miss Eleanor Tilney. How do I make time elastic so I can stretch the day? 🙂
Great choices, Teresa! I’d love to know what you think of those! I see you picked some non-Pride and Prejudice related stories. It was great to see a few more of those than normal this month. I wish I could make time slow down!!!
I always feel overwhelmed by new release post, but also excited. I’ve read two of these for review and have one more as well. But I see five right off the top that will be must-reads. Whew, the book budget is already squirming. 🙂
I have read Mr. Darcy’s Present, The Many Lives of Fitzwilliam Darcy, Waking to Mr. Darcy and Courting Elizabeth. Some were better than others. Not many when you look at how many were released.
Thanks for compiling these lists for us Meredith. Whenever I make a dent in my TBR list, I can always count on your blog to help me fix this problem. Lots of lovely new titles this month. Cannot wait to dive in.
My pleasure, Stephanie! We can’t have a small/non-existent TBR pile! No, certainly not! 🙂
