That’s quite a list, Meredith! Thank you for including us and we hope you enjoy the book when you get chance to read it!
So looking forward to it, Cass! Congrats again on your new release! 🙂
Wow great list with some good books by great authors on that list too! How do they keep thinking up all of the storylines!!!! Great respect to them all!
Yes, indeed! 🙂 So many new twists! Can never get tired of reading these stories!
I recommend A Remedy Against Sin!! Especially if you like the forced marriage scenario between Elizabeth & Darcy (which happens to be a favorite of mine). It was really well done.
Ooh! I just read the sample of that over the weekend! I hope the author publishes it on paperback! I really like the premise, like you, I love exploring forced marriages!
Great list! It is amazing how many books released in just one month!!!! I would be lost but I see that you are not for The Particular Charm of Miss Jane Austen is a gem not to be missed!
Isn’t it a great list, Rita! These authors are so awesome! I am even more excited about The Particular Charm of Miss Jane Austen after hearing your praise!!
I agree, A Remedy Against Sin was fabulous. Many variations are good, but this one was exceptional. It may be my favorite and I have read an embarrassment of them. I read for free with Amazon Unlimited and I will gladly buy it for so I can keep it in my Kindle collection of “Best P&P Retellings” and reread when ever I please.
Ooh! I’m really interested in that one, Karen! 🙂 Glad to hear you loved it so much!
I have read 3 of these so far but there are some I will have to check out that I had no clue about. Of course, The Particular Charm of Miss Jane Austen is on my wishlist along with Victoria’s ‘Chaos Come To Longbourn’ and ‘Remedy Against Sin’. I truly appreciate you providing us with this list each month and I am so thankful for the talents of the authors who delight and entertain us!
That’s great, Carole! I’m so glad you enjoy the lists! I am always hoping they are helpful! 🙂 These authors sure have kept busy!
Thanks for such an intriguing list! I’m noticing how the quality of covers is improving–the one for Obligation and Redemption really makes me want to rush out to a bookstore! The Impertinent Strangers one is very effective, too.
Yes, I quite agree! I love looking at book covers! 🙂 I love the colors and style in Obligation and Redemption, very bold and ornate.
Thanks for this list Meredith. I can’t believe I haven’t read any of them although a number are on my wish list. I will have to check out the others especially A Remedy Against Sin after reading the other comments.
I really love getting recommendations from other readers so I’m always happy to see which books from these lists readers recommend! There are so many to choose from!
There are some novels which catch my eye : “1876” because of Elizabeth defending the rights of the women, “chaos comes to Loungbourn ” because it seems a total mess but it works! LOL, and “The last adventure of Scarlet Pimpernel” because I read Baroness Orczy’s original novel and I enjoyed a lot the swashbuckling tale.
Thanks for the lists, they are always so helpful!
Great choices, Teresa! I loved all the stories I read from Victoria Kincaid and Jack Caldwell, I don’t think you could go wrong with them! 1876 seems to be very unique which is always fun!
Oooh good!
Yes, July flew by.
Way too fast…hope August goes slower!
Meredith, the line up is great and I already own about half of the books, though my reading time has been greatly diminished with moderating on the D&L forum and posting my own story. Nevertheless, I’ve jotted down your recommendations and will load up my Kindle for when there is a lull in my schedule. Thanks so much! Jen Red ♫
I can easily understand what you mean by diminished reading tim, Jen! How wonderful about your story! Will you publish it? I hope you get to enjoy some reading time in the future, my friend!
Throwing hands up: do I just yell, “Uncle” or laugh. Totally no one can possibly keep anywhere near up to all being released. I have read Chaos Comes to Longbourn, A Remedy Against Sin and Finally Mrs. Darcy. I definitely want to read Jack’s new one and read for the first time The Scarlet Pimpernel as a prelude to reading his. I also want to read Darcy and Elizabeth: a Fair Trade, Mister Darcy’s Maltese Falcon, Renewed Hope and Impertinent Strangers. The others I have not read anything about so can’t say if they would appeal to me or not.
Thanks for the list and all your hard work, Meredith.
I’m like you, Sheila! I love the idea of Jack’s new novel but don’t want to read it until I read The Scarlet Pimpernel for the first time. I haven’t even seen the movie! The ones that you have on your want to read list look like great choices! Hope you enjoy them!
I’ve only read two of those, have two more to read, and see yet two more I want. And yes, July was a blur! If August goes fast, I’ll really be behind on my reading. 😉
Thanks for the fantastic lists. I always find new ones to want each time you post your Novel Finds.
LOL! Two for each category! 😉 I’m hoping August goes a little slower, I love summer! I don’t want it to end!
that’s quite a list
Yep! 😉
LOL I know the feeling about speedy July, Meredith. Where did it go??
Thanks for the new releases list, can’t wait to dig into it, and great to get tips from the other comments, here’s summer reading sorted 🙂
Have a fun summer!
I love seeing the tips from other readers! It’s super helpful because I don’t think it would be possible to read them all! 🙂
Hope you are enjoying your summer!
So many books: so little time! Thanks for the list, Meredith! There are several that I have already and a few I have yet to get. 🙂
^ Too true, Brenda! 🙂
I bought the DVD but am saving it to view with my kids. I have to ask Jack if I need to read the two other sequels also before reading his new book.
Ooh! Good to know, I didn’t realize there were sequels!
