Austenesque ARC Giveaway #8!

Austenesque ARC

If you’ve been a reader of this blog for some time than you know that I used to have periodic Austenesque ARC Giveaways.  This was due to the fact I oftentimes replace my ARC’s with real copies of books or because I sometimes end up with two copies of the same book. 😉  And by nature, I am a bit of a minimalist, so if there is something in my home that I don’t need to have there, I’m quick to remove it or give it away.  When it comes to books, I’m always happy to share any surplus I have with the wonderful readers of this blog!

The last Austenesque ARC GiveawayI had was in February of 2015 (pre-move) just before my books got packed in storage bins for 10 months!  Now that I have bookshelves again and can organize my books properly, I see it is well past time for me to do another Austenesque ARC Giveaway!

All books are in gently used/like new condition.  Three books are ARCs or early editions (marked with an asterisk) that I’ve now replaced with other copies and one book (Mr. Knightley’s Diary) is one I found at our library book sale and couldn’t resist sharing here.   All pages of these books are in tact and not written on.

And today’s Austenesque ARC Giveaway is extra special because I have 3 books coming from Stephanie Littlejohn who, like we were 15 months ago, is getting ready to move into a smaller space.  She has 3 books she would like me help find new homes for…

Darcy and Fitzwilliam by Karen Wasylowski*

Emma and Elizabeth by Ann Mychal*

In the Past Imperfect by Isabelle Solal

Mr. Knightley’s Diary by Amanda Grange

Expectations of Happiness by Rebecca Ann Collins*

Darcy’s Decision by Maria Grace

The Future Mrs. Darcy by Maria Grace

Regency Prints Refined by Sharon Lathan

  1. Wow thank you Meredith and thank you for allowing us Brits to be able to have a chance in winning one of these lovely books. I have already read Darcy and Fitzwilliam by Karen Wasylowski but would love a chance to win any of the other books. Thank you so much. What a lovely, kind, gesture.

    1. I’m happy to open it internationally! I’m so happy to connect with readers all over the world! I’m very thankful you visit my blog and join in our discussions!

  2. Love this giveaway. Thanks for sharing the love. I haven’t read Mr. Knightley’s Diary by Amanda Grange yet so I will try for that one. 🙂 Thank you.

  3. Thanks for this delightful feature and giveaway. In The Past Imperfect interests me greatly. I would love this treasure.

  4. Thanks for doing this! I’m interested in “Expectations of Happiness” by Rebecca Ann Collins. Cheers!

  5. Meredith, aren’t you awesome for sharing like this! I wish there was a place that I could pass on books like this, but I don’t have a blog. Oh well.
I would love to win “In the Past Imperfect”. “Persuasion” is my favorite of JA’s books, and I love to read all variations, interpretations and versions of it.

    1. I think this might be the 8th time I’ve hosted this kind of giveaway. I was real surprise with how big the response was the first time, I’m glad to know there are readers out there who would like to give a slightly used/once read book a new home!

  6. How very generous of the two of you. I’m a minimalist myself, but over the past year I have been trying to increase my number of JAFF paperbacks. I’d love to have a copy of Emma and Elizabeth. I’ve been interested in Ms. Mychal since I read your review of Brinshore. Thanks for the giveaway!

    1. Paperbacks are lovely and I only choose to diminish my supply when I have 2 of the same one, because I really don’t see a situation where I will need both at the same time. 😉

  7. Please enter me into the giveaway for “Expectations of Happiness”. I’ve had that one on my wish list for a long time.

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  8. What a great way to re-gift a book!!! I seriously would love any of these! However, the ones I haven’t read are:
Darcy and Fitzwilliam by Karen Wasylowski

Emma and Elizabeth by Ann Mychal

In the Past Imperfect by Isabelle Solal

Mr. Knightley’s Diary by Amanda Grange

Expectations of Happiness by Rebecca Ann Collins

    and
    Regency Prints Refined.

    Thank you both for this!!

  9. Thank you both for your generosity! It is always nice to know you are giving books away to people who will treasure them. I would love the chance to win Mr. Knightley’s Diary by Amanda Grange as I own Mr. Darcy’s Diary and enjoyed it or Regency Prints Refined by Sharon Lathan. Thank you!

    1. I know they can be easily donated to our library or other places in town, but I find this way much more fun! 🙂 I really appreciate all the visits and conversations readers like you bring to this blog!

  10. I’m glad I could contribute! Please leave me out of the drawing (for obvious reasons). =D I’ve replaced quite a few of mine with ebooks because they take up much less space in a tiny house! Good luck all!!

  11. How kind you are Meredith. I am the opposite to minimalist I’m afraid as I’m a hoarder. (Especially books!) So I would love to win Darcy & Fitzwilliam by Karen Waslowski please. Thanks again 🙂

  24. In The Past Imperfect would be my favourite choice. However, to win any of the others would be great except Emma and Elizabeth. I already own that. Thanks so much for the giveaway Meredith. Always nice to get something for free!!!

  25. “In the Past Imperfect” – oh, yes please. Thank you so much, Meredith – I should be downsizing, but this is to good to resist.

  26. Thank you for being so generous! It would be a great pleasure to have a copy of Amanda Grace’s, “Mr. Knighley’s Diary!” I own most of the other novels in book form. It would be great to have it in my collection of over 300.

  27. Wow! All of these sound delightful. I’ve always thought about what happens to the Dashwood sisters and would love to read Expectations of Happiness. Persuasion will forever be my favorite love story and I’m excited to read In the Past Imperfect as well!

  28. I have already read Emma and Elizabeth but would not mind a chance to win any of the others. If we have to select one then please enter me for Expectations of Happiness by Rebecca Ann Collins. Thank you for this chance to win.

  29. A minimalist… I truly wish I were. Haha! Though, I do make an effort to give it away if I don’t use it or have more than one. Very kind of you and Stephanie to do a giveaway. 38. Thanks ever so much, Meredith, for the generous giveaway! I have some of those books in paperback, nearly all of them in Kindle but I can’t resist the temptation of throwing my name into the hat for a chance to own a paperback copy of

Mr Knightley’s Diary by Amanda Grange (which I haven’t read yet, shame on me!!)

LOVED what you said about being a bit of a minimalist by nature. Dear oh dear, that’s one huge challenge, with all the JAFF that gets published, more and more each day. Luckily it looks like you might have room for a library extension. Or underground storage or something 😀
Thanks again and have a very happy summer xx
