Whoa! That’s a lot of books, isn’t it? Great job authors! What an exciting month!
Of these 38 books, I have yet to read any (unless you count the Compromising Mr. Darcy boxset – since I’ve read each of those stories by Rose Fairbanks individually).
I have A Change of Legacies, Darcy and Elizabeth – A Promise Kept, On Oakham Mount, Sufficient Encouragement, Undercover, and Unwilling on my soon to-be-read list!!
I can’t wait! Got a lot of reading ahead of me! 😉
UPDATE: Just added 3 more books to the list! The total is now 41!

Whoohoo some brilliant books. Can’t wait to read On Oakham Mount! X
Awesome! That’s great! There are so many to choose from!
Isn’t it wonderful to have so much choice! I am thrilled but now with the nicer weather coming and a reno starting next week, I may not be able to read as many as I would like! I have already read and reviewed: ‘On Oakham Mount’ 4*, ‘Unwilling’ 5*, ‘Change of Legacies’ 5*, I have four others on my Kindle to read and then my wishlist as some of the others! I will have to check out those I don’t know about to see if I need to add them! Thank you so much for this list…it is greatly appreciated.
It is! So many choices sometimes it is hard to decide where to start! That’s great that you felt favorably about the three you read because as you can see I am planning on reading them too!! 😉 Hope you can find some time to read this month!
Amazing list!!! I’ve already got a few of these gems and can’t wait to read them all! Huge thanks for another great list, Meredith!
Thank you!! I’m glad you enjoy the list!!
It is fascinating when you see all the books in one month listed. I had no idea there were that many. Thanks for doing all the leg work! 🙂
An impressive lot! Compared to the previous three months, April was extra busy! 😉
You will love Unwilling & Love Never Fails. I’ve just read those . I also have Undercover & A Promise Kept to read. And plan to get On Oakham Mount if I’m not lucky enough to win it. There are also some others on my very long wish list. Happy reading
Awesome, Glynis! I’m so glad to hear you loved them! Great choices on your upcoming reads! Happy reading!!
I’ m curious about Regina Jeffers ‘s books and I find beautiful the covers of Michelle M and J Dawn King. What I like most of this kind of list is the variety of themes! . Even there’s a coloring book that I think it may be relaxing 🙂 I feel like taking my pencils and starting coloring!. Thanks for the updates!
Yes, very true! A lot of variety and a lot of familiar authors! 😉 I agree with you about coloring! 😀
I have read 10 of those. Some catching up to do but I know I will never read all. Thank you for the update. I do see one I must read a.s.a.p.
Wow! Sheila! Hats off to you!
I went to Amazon to order Joy Dawn King’s and it is not to be published until May 1st…so I have to wait. Wondered how i missed that one as I do “follow” her.
Yep, the paperback is available now, but I saw the kindle would be released tomorrow. 😉
Wow, yes, that’s a lot coming out this month. I have two that I plan to read for sure, but I see about ten for the wish list. 😉
So many great books coming out in the same month! Hope you enjoy the ones you have planned to read soon!
I don’t think any of us can keep up with the amount of JAFF being published nowadays. Thanks for keeping us in touch with what’s out there Meredith.
So, my tally is: 2 read as a beta, 4 on my TBR list as giveaways or bought and the rest for the time when all I am able to do is read!
Glad you find the list helpful, Anji! Wouldn’t it be great to just be able and read full-time? Maybe one day!
Wealth or Poverty?: Jane Austen’s Novels Explored by Stephen Mahony. This looks really interesting to me. And once again no Persuasion JAFF!!!
I wish for more Persuasion JAFF too!! 🙂 Or maybe Emma JAFF!
Gee, and I thought I read a lot of books this month. JAFF is bustin’ out all over!
Yes it is!!! LOL! #NotComplaining
I have read three on the list… Reading has kept me busy around everything else in my life – but how can I resist! .
Behind the Tapestries by Beth Wood is a delightful read. How often we have wanted to have the main characters overhear things others say and do – and find ways to get to know each other that are novel… This book has creative changes to the story which stir up some interesting dialogue and plot twists… I will say no more… See for yourself!
A Change of Legacies by Sophie Turner has dream sequences that seem so real to the participants (and often to the reader) that reality seems altered for a time. Greater understanding comes from the dreams as well, as characters are more able to explore “what ifs” in the plot. The writer uses details true to the time, drawing the reader into historic events and possibilities which stretch stories and characters until you feel you are living more in the early 1800’s than our time. Be prepared to contemplate canceling your personal appointments just to stay home and read – as you cannot leave the characters hanging in danger or in misunderstanding waiting for you to read on!
Darcy’s Journey by M A Sandford included travels to exciting locales and moves our story into different settings and different dangers. A very patient and honorable Darcy who does all he can to help and save those important to him. A little bit of “It Happened One Night” flavor which I enjoyed.
I am reading Side By Side Apart right now and it is pulling me in with it’s plot twist! Wow! The characters seem true to life and their angst rings true. This book would be an amazing vacation read – it gives me a feeling of vacation right now and my time off is months away! I must stop my writing at this point as books are calling to me!
Hi Mary! Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts on these three books! That dream sequence in A Change of Legacies sounds interesting! I love exploring what-ifs! That’s great that you are enjoying all your reads this month!
Yes, answer that call, my friend!! 😉
I’ve just finished Undercover and WOW! I couldn’t put it down. Love this Elizabeth and Darcy Happy reading
I’m not surprised! Cat’s books are so addictive! Can’t wait to read it myself!
UPDATE: Just added 3 more books to the list! The total is now 41!
Wow, April is a fruitful month! So many interesting releases! Probably, “On Oakham Mount” intrigues me the most. I an attracted by the cover of “Queen of the Desert” by Lavinia Angell (but I am not sure I will be able to cope with the idea of Darcy being a sheikh:)). And I read the original version of “Side by Side, Apart” by Ann Galvia (when it was knows as Bruises), loved it and would highly recommend it to other Austen lovers!
I’m real excited to hear your praise of Side by Side, Apart! It seems such a unique premise! 🙂
