Lots of new authors and exciting new releases from some of my favorites authors!
Of these 26 books, I have yet to read any, but I have Sense and Sensibility, The Trouble to Check Her and Darcy vs. Bennet on my soon-to-be-read list.
I also think How to Mend a Broken Heart and Jane Austen in Blue Jeans both look very interesting.

I love that you post this regularly!
I’m glad you like the lists! I love lists and am very OCD, so for me they are a lot of fun to make!
Thank you Meredith. Much appreciated
My pleasure, Michelle! Hope you are doing well!
I have only read Darcy vs Bennet which I can highly recommend. I do want to read several others but just didn’t get to them yet, i.e. How to Mend a Broken Heart. Thanks for the update, Meredith.
Yay! I’m glad to hear you highly recommend it! 🙂 Hopefully any others you read will be just as much to your liking!
I’m always amazed at how many new Austenesque books there are! Lots of pretty covers, but the one that catches my eye the most is Darcy and His Elizabeth by Kate Bedlow. It’s the fonts, that color blue, and the flowers around the door make it quite charming! 🙂
Me too! So many new authors too! I agree with you about the cover of Darcy and His Elizabeth – it is very attractive! 🙂
How to Mend a Broken Heart sounds good. I’ve just read Sense and Sensibility and it was a great read. I have Second Chances waiting to go. Love these lists Meredith.
Hi Teresa! I’m reading Sense and Sensibility next, hope I like it just as much as you did! It will be my first Sarah Price story and if I like it, I’ll definitely be getting my hands on the others!
Goodness me, always so many new books! Some of these I’d heard of, but lots of them were news to me, thanks for taking the trouble to find and post them, Meredith!
I know! Austenesque authors keep busy, which is great because we have a never-ending stream of books to read! 🙂 Happy to bring some new books to your attention!
I’ve only read Darcy vs Bennet and The Trouble to Check Her from your list Meredith. And that’s only because I’ve been lucky enough to beta for both. I think both are some of the best writing that Victoria Kincaid and Maria Grace have produced to date.
So many goodies in that list. There’s only one that I have already, though there’s quite a few on my Wish List.
That’s awesome to hear, Anji! I can’t wait to read both of those – I’ve love so many of Maria and Victoria’s books! Thanks for stopping by and sharing!
I attempted to read Dear Emma, but the heroine drove me nuts. I have Sense & Sensibility to read. And I definitely want to read The Trouble to Check Her, Darcy v. Bennet, Mr. Darcy’s Kindness, and Healing His Broken Heart. There are a few others that I’ve added to the wish list, too.
Thanks, Meredith!
Oh so sorry to hear that, Sophia. It is always hard when you don’t like one of the main characters. I hope the others on your list bring you more enjoyment!
Thanks for the lovely tips, Meredith. I can’t wait to read some of these books, wish I could read them all. So much good JAFF, we’re so lucky!!!
Have you heard of Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld? It is a modern P&P retelling that looks great. Similar to the Jo Baker book in that both are mainstream successful authors taking on JAFF.
I think I did hear a little about this one. It is part of The Austen Project, right? I haven’t read any of them yet, but hopefully soon!
I am not sure but I will read it and let you know what I think. I believe it comes out on the 18th!
That book (Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld) is due to be published April 19th and is priced @ $13.99 for the kindle copy.
