Well this is a first…I haven’t read any of these 31 new releases and I don’t have any of them on my soon To-Be-Read list.
But I definitely am interested in A Searing Acquaintance, Guilt Trip, Jane and the Waterloo Map, Tea with Jane Austen, and When Mary Met the Colonel, and have added them to my ever-growing wish-list. 🙂

I have only read two of these but do own and plan to read a third one. What is that about dreaming the impossible dream?…for me it is to catch up even to half of all that is published. But then I would want it to be the best of those…like your 5 stars books all in a row!
I dream of catching up to my TBR pile! And when I do, you can be sure that I will go on a nice shopping spree and amass another pile!
I read Obsession and A Searing Acquaintance and have the Waterloo map one sitting here to read.
Thanks for another list Meredith. I’ve read When Mary Met the Colonel, twice actually, as I was fortunate enough to get a sneak peek last year as one of Victoria’s betas. I’ve read the published version, too, as part of my TBR challenge on Goodreads.
Of the rest, I’ve got Jane and the Waterloo Map waiting on my JAFF audiobook playlist and would love to read Obsession, A Searing Acquaintance and Darcy and Elizabeth: Timeless. The latter appeals to the sci-fi geek in me. Whether I’ll fit them all in remains to be seen. The TBR challenge doesn’t seem reducing the size of my mountin though, as I keep adding to it!

I’ll never get caught up! Can I use reading other genres as my excuse? I’m sticking with that. And this is one of the best reasons I love your blog. To be able to find out about the cream of the crop. 🙂
LOL! It would be quite an insurmountable task! I just wish to catch up with books I own, never mind all the ones published! (my TBR pile is over 70 books!)
Michelle, I so know what you mean. I have about a hundred that I have added to my kindle when they were free or discounted. I would have enough to read until the end of the year without buying any new…BUT then these new books come out like A Searing Acquaintance and Obsession and I have to read them. Both of those are excellent reads.

I´m very curious about “Elizabeth and Van Gogh” (could our Lizzy be a muse for the famous painter?), and, as you say, about “Jane and the Waterloo map” and “When Mary met the Colonel” (I never thought about the possibility of this couple! it could work!). Thanks for sharing the new novels with us, even if we are not able to read all of them! LOL 😉
Isn’t it interesting to imagine Jane Austen’s characters interacting with other historical figures? I think the same author wrote a book about Elizabeth and Shakespeare not too long ago. Glad you enjoyed the list, my friend!

I’ve read several of the new ones which have a 4 star or higher Amazon rating. Unfortunately most of last month’s crop of JAFF has only 2 or 3 star ratings. I continue to be disappointed that often a short story is listed for $2.99 when 99 cents appears to be more reasonable.
I might note that Amazon’s search engine is not completely accurate in finding new listings. Two on this month’s list have been out some time (I bought one in April 2015).
Please do let me know if you found a mistake on the lists! I definitely want them to be as accurate as possible! Thanks!

Just Finished A Searing Acquaintance… A bit steamy here and there for me, but the writing, the characters, the emotion, the misunderstandings as well as the maturity they grew to have along the way to solve the misunderstandings and heal each other. Wow. This novel will stay with me for a long long time. I really felt like I could see it all – great use of language and description… and realistic modernization. Believable. These are the Elizabeth and Darcy you want to know. Bravo!
