Another lovely looooong list of Austenesque novels published this past month! 🙂
*This list will be updated in the next couple of days as amazon sometimes takes a day or two to show newly added releases in search results…and also because technically May isn’t over yet.
**This is a list of books published, not my personal recommendations. (Some of these books are for Mature Audiences only, make sure you read all book descriptions carefully before purchasing!)

Out of these 41 books listed for May: I have read 0, *hangs head in shame* have 5 on my soon-to-be-read list, and have added 3 more to my ever-growing wish-list!
**If you notice I’m missing any, please do let me know! 🙂
Oh good! More books to add to my tbr list 🙂 I didn’t know most of them were being released now so thank you.
🙂 So many to choose from! Happy reading, Kristia!
Oh what a huge list! I think my tbr list will growing more and more!
I’d like to read something by Jennifer Joy, do you know what is her first book of “The cousins series”?
I will search about Mary’s secret desire and Second chances: An Amish retelling of Jane Austen’s Persuasion to find out the books blurb!
And finally I want to read absolutely No cause to repine and One love – Two hearts – Three stories by two of my favourite authors.
Can I suggest you to read Pride and proposals by Victoria Kincaid? It’s really a good book, well written and with a different plot. Furthermore it isn’t too long so you can find it a light diversion.
I know…the size of mine scares me a little! Will I ever have time to read them all?!? I do know the title of Jennifer Joy’s first book – it is Darcy’s Ultimatum. 🙂
Love hearing that you enjoyed Pride and Proposals! It’s on my TBR for July! Sounds wonderful!
Thank you Meredith that is so helpful. I am going to read L.L. Diamond’s book as I have just read Rain and Retribution and loved it. I will put all the others on my TBR list for birthday’s and Christmas pressies!
Awesome! Yes, they would make lovely birthday and Christmas pressies! 😉 I have An Unwavering Trust on my TBR too! Looking forward to it as I really enjoyed everything else I read by L.L. Diamond!
Wow oh wow!!! Such an amazing collection to add to the TBR list!!
So many books, so little time 😀
Thanks so much, Meredith, your site is such a lovely treasure trove, always!
You are too kind, Joana! Glad you find the list helpful! 🙂 Happy reading!
How am I supposed to read all these?! Thank you, Meredith, some of these look pretty good. Some look like they’re not my sort of book, but kudos to you for finding all of them!
LOL! I think reading needs to be a full-time job…will anyone hire us to do that? 😉 It’s great to have so many to choose from, allows you plenty of options!
I am retired but do have other things to do, i.e., babysit my grandchildren. I do read A LOT and can’t keep up, even with reading over 125 books last year and over 75 this year so far! I do post reviews on all my reads now that I am retired, so that does help keep my mind exercise. Not all my reads are JAFF.
This is quite a long list of novels to be released. I am curious to know which You are to read. It’s good to have more than one list when it comes to Reading, thank you for this. I am going to organise mine. And enjoy your readings
I had no idea there were so many per month! There were 34 in April and 36 so far in May! The ones on my soon to-be-read list are An Unwavering Trust, No Cause to Repine, Jane Austen: Fan Phenomena, Pride and Proposals, and Second Chances. 🙂 I hope you enjoy your readings too!
Thanks so much for the list! I enjoy a lot knowing the new titles, the authors and the covers although I can’t read all of them LOL! 🙂
Some of the list look very promising!
I agree! Its great to know what’s out there even though we might not be able to read them all. I love looking at covers…which is why this list is a list that includes images!
I haven’t read any of these either, but a handful are on the wishlist. The rest are all new to me so thanks for bringing them to my attention.
Happy to introduce you to some new reads, Sophia Rose! I’m glad I’m not the only one who hasn’t read of this month’s wonderful offerings!
My count tallies at two, but that’s only because I was fortunate enough to be a beta reader for them! They’re Victoria Kincaid’s book and Joy King’s. Victoria’s WILL make you cry, Meredith, so have a box of tissues to hand, but it’s a great read. Joy’s three stories are all lovely, too. I think my favourite of the three is The Library, which is the only one of them I didn’t beta for but did read on fanfiction.net. Ramsgate is an alternative version of the event we know so well and Married! is a forced marriage scenario.
You’ve done yet another amazing job with this list, Meredith. I’ve heard of some of them and there’s also quite a few new authors for me to watch out for.
Ironically, Anji, those are the two off this list that I have also read! I do have another one on my kindle.
I love emotional reads, Anji! Glad to hear your warm praise for both of these stories! And how fun it must be to beta for them! 🙂
I have read two but have another on my kindle to read soon. That list is overwhelming. Just to have to go to the book descriptions to read and see if they are MA or not is a job! Only one gives us a hint with the title. Thank you for compiling this for us.
Based on the descriptions I read on amazon the books by Tilda Templton, Bella Jansen, Abby Downton, and Lilly Gransen would be ones I’d recommend for MA only. I’m not sure about any others though…Hope that helps!
Thank you for the information.
Wow! Lots of new goodies to add to my list! Thank you for organizing these so beautifully for us – it’s incredibly helpful. Of these, I’ve only read 1 so far. When so many new authors pop up, it makes me curious if I’ve read the stories online sonewhere and just don’t know it yet. lol Gotta do some research 🙂
Have a great weekend!
I’m so glad you found the list helpful, Monica! It is fun to see all the books together. I love looking at covers so I pretty much had to include them! It must be hard to figure out if you’ve already read a story online if an author uses a different pen name or changes the title of their work.
Hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend!
Wow! No wonder I’m getting very little writing done. Too much to read. Thanks for including mine and Jennifer’s books. It’s lovely to see our covers up there.
There are so many books being released, and at a far faster rate than I can read. When I first found JAFF there were only a few books and now…..wow, so much to choose from. Thank you so much for compiling this list monthly, Meredith.
