Austenesque ARC Giveaway #2!

As some of you may know, I sometimes accept ARC (Advanced Reader Copies) of books to read and review from various publishing companies, authors, and the Amazon Vine Program.  While I am so fortunate to receive some of these books for free, I’m a book collector and usually end up buying myself an official copy of the books I like. Just look at my book collection! ->

Even though the ARC’s I receive are in such nice condition and usually include a gorgeous cover picture, I like to own the real thing!

So that leaves me with the question: What do I do with my old ARCs?  I would hate to throw such excellent literature in the recycling bin!  I thought I’d check to see if there was anyone in the blogsphere who might want them before donating them to my library.  Last time I did this was in July, and 5 of my ARC’s found new happy homes!

Here are 4 ARCs that I have recently replaced with official releases in my library:

The Man Who Loved Pride and Prejudice
The Intrigue at Highbury
Mr. Darcy Takes the Plunge
Wickham’s Diary

See anything you like?  I know receiving a once-read ARC isn’t as exciting as receiving a brand new release, but perhaps someone out there is interested in owning one of these…

GIVEAWAY TIME!!!!! If you are interested in winning one of these terrific ARCs for yourself, just leave a comment indicating which book you’d like to win! I will randomly select a winner for each book.

– You can enter for one book, two books, three books, or for all FOUR!

– This giveaway is open internationally

This giveaway will end March 29th. BEST OF LUCK and thank you for entering!

  3. I know what you mean about ARCs! My library will take them to sell in their booksale, but I know when they see me coming that all the clerks think “Oh great, it’s that Austen girl again!” I’d rather they went to a good home!

I would love to read the Intrigue at Highbury. Thank you!

I would love to read The Man Who Loved Pride and Prejudice (although I agree the original title seemed just fine as it was).

I haven’t had an opportunity to read “The Intrigue at Highbury”. Looks like most are in this boat. Matter of fact, I’m not even sure I’d heard of it. I think I read “Mr. Darcy takes the Plunge” but I’d love to have my own personal copy. Thanks so much for this opportunity.

  12. Love the book collection you have build up. I like the way you arrange your books in shelves. Mine is tidy but separated into two rooms – bedroom and PC cum study room. I think I need to buy a larger bookcase like yours but I digress.

Anyway, I already have Wickham’s Diary and TMWLPP (aka Pemberley by the Sea) so I’m trying my luck for Mr. Darcy Takes the Plunge and The Intrigue at Highbury. Thanks for the wonderful opportunity.

  13. Thanks for the chance for the giveaway. I would love to have Mr. Darcy Takes the Plunge and/or Wickham’s Diary. I guess put me down for all four. I would truly to win any of them.

    Thanks again.
